I think she saw how Tony handles booking women on the show and was like no thanks.

It's a shame, because she had an opportunity to do something special. But, yeah, that injury killed it.

It certainly didn’t help matters that Hayter got hurt, Shida got hurt, Rosa is/was hurt, you have the feel good moment with Saraya winning in London and realize she can’t take many bumps so that’s limited.

I’m not making excuses for Tony (even though it sounds like I am) because aside from Rosa/Britt, there hasn’t been a real intense womens storyline outside from maybe the organic rise of Jamie Hayter.

Mercedes could’ve been that spark, the shot in the arm needed.

Instead she’s just going back to WWE and Sasha Banks teams with Bayley and probably Charlotte & Becky and we get our Horsewomen reunion. It’s underwhelming to me because it’s been done. But if she’s getting paid, more respect to her.

He suspended everyone involved in Brawl Out. Punk was gone longer because of injury but came back and had another altercation. You could say literally everyone involved walked all over Tony in that situation. Elite with how they handled it and Punk with (for lack of a better term) punking out Tony right to his face at the presser when he threw his tantrum.

Everyone was at fault there one way or another. I think Punk was over AEW at that moment whether he wants to admit it or not. His All In thing with Jungle Boy was a way out. Perry shouldn’t have said what he did, no brainer, but Punk having another fight backstage? For someone like a veteran as he is? Fucking c’mon.

He’s back in WWE making boat loads of money, hypocrite or not. It is what it is.

It’s not 100% Tony’s fault. Though he should’ve absolutely manned up and cut Punk off when he started woofing muffins and running down the company. Elite should’ve kept their fucking mouths shut as well. Grown ass men acting like children and this is what happened.

It is so much bigger than Brawl Out or suspending people. It's about making money. That's it. Wrestling is a business and I so want Tony to succeed and be a legit alternative, but when you make dumb decisions that can backfire in so many ways it is really hard to understand why he keeps taking advice from jabronis.

Tony can't handle things better - that is becoming obvious.  Who cares if Punk went backstage to a WWE event?  You think MLB or NFL or NBA players can't visit friends on other teams when they aren't playing in a game that night?  I have friends that work for a competitor, I can't show up and have a conversation with those people at an event or an outing?  That's absurd.

Yes Tony should have handled things better from the outset, he didn't. He took sides. But instead of letting your cash cow (whether you like him or not, he draws) go to the competitor AND make you look worse, you figure it out.  That is business.  You don't feign that you feared for your safety and put together a "committee" to decide what happens.  You figure it out and make money.  Turn it into an angle.  Look what is about to happen with Seth and Punk, it is going to make millions.  They legit hate each other, but are professional enough to work with each other.  Do I think Punk and Jungle Boy would draw as much, of course not. Would Bucks and Punk draw?  Most likely. You turn it into something that can make money.  Now if this firing causes Tony to lose millions on a TV deal because that is a name those execs wanted, well now you just hurt the entire company and affected the livelihood of everyone on the roster.  

It's simple, Tony needs to hire real executives.  Let workers work and let business folks run the business.

I really don't think Vince or Trips would care, but they would probably put some heat on the guy/gal who did that anyway. Not because it is wrong but it's how they gain leverage because they are pricks lol
