Seriously though, yeah he's not making Mania.
You have him relinquish the title. Make the Rumbel (or the Chamber if you think you can wait that long) be to crown the new champ. Punk wins the title and feuds with Drew through Mania.

I mean, would it weaken Cody if he faced Punk at Mania? We’re to the point though that anything other than beating Roman would be a flop for Cody, right? Winning the silver medal World Title is weak after this multi-year long story that he’s been unable to finish.
You’d also have to imagine Punk wins that match if he’s champion coming in. Why take it off Punk that quickly?
Wild card, Priest just walks to the ring and hands the briefcase to Adam Pearce and says “I’ll take that athanku”, cashes in his MITB and gets the title that way, haha. Dumber title changes have happened.
Maybe Truth wins the title for a cup of coffee and Priest cashes in that way? I can’t fucking believe I even suggested Truth as World Champion, but he’s arguably the most over babyface you have right now, ride the hot hand, even if it is for a few minutes.

Anderson & Gallows are the Horace & Norton of the Bullet Club at this point. Which is a slap in the face to Anderson, who is a good worker, just never gets to show it. I can’t believe AJ is 46.
Balor seems like he has more miles in the tank than AJ. I’d keep Balor over him if we’re talking Biz Cliz boys.
