It was just a complete tonal shift from how everything has gone down before thus. Cody stepped aside on Friday. Now he's saying no. Rock is all about taking taking the Head of the Table back. Now he's protecting Roman. It's all weird. I will take the best outcome over perfect storytelling. If they saw they fucked it and made the change on the fly, I celebrate it. Even if it was avoidable. Because it's pro wrestling. If done right, you can redirect the next day and have the response they got last night. |

100%. By the time the show comes around most people will forget about the messy start.
But I won't suffer the "see you just had to be patient" people, as if this was always the plan from brilliant WWE.

100%. By the time the show comes around most people will forget about the messy start. But I won't suffer the "see you just had to be patient" people, as if this was always the plan from brilliant WWE. Yeah, I think we've learned that's rarely the case. In this instance, I wasn't talking shit. I legitimately thought that with guys like Hunter, Rock, Cody, etc. making the calls they would be able to easily see it wouldn't work. Now, maybe they did put a pivot opportunity in the plan. But I think we would be giving them too much credit at this point. |

Bruce's thoughts on the Vince stuff. He wants to let it sit in the hands of "the fine legal system we have here in the United States of America." For being Vince's right hand man for how long, we're to believe he didn't know anything? He get his answer from Bullshit-R-Us? I know this was at least an answer and not a dodge/dip/duck/dive/dodge that Hunter did at the Rumble presser, but I don't see how Bruce (and so many others) were unaware of any of this.

Bruce's thoughts on the Vince stuff. He wants to let it sit in the hands of "the fine legal system we have here in the United States of America." For being Vince's right hand man for how long, we're to believe he didn't know anything? He get his answer from Bullshit-R-Us? I know this was at least an answer and not a dodge/dip/duck/dive/dodge that Hunter did at the Rumble presser, but I don't see how Bruce (and so many others) were unaware of any of this.
I don’t believe for a second he didn’t know of anything like this. Maybe not this particular incident (and maybe so) but there’s no doubt blood on Bruce’s hands along with everyone else. He won’t say anything else because he doesn’t want to be called into it whatsoever. |

Cody makes it for his match versus Roman. Roman has Rock in his corner. Cody is alone. Cody has it and The Bloodline beatdown of 2023 starts. Now we have new addition Jacob Fatu off the top. Crowd is silent. They can't believe WWE is doing this again. Cody is going to lose ag.........
The glass breaks. The crowd erupts. Here comes Stone Cold with Owens, Sami, Knight, and others in the lead. The faces clear the ring, Rock eats a stunner, Cody pins Roman. Show ends with Cody in the ring drinking beer with Stone Cold. Rock and Roman staring beams of light in their direction from the top of the stage.

The Rock tried to be good to the people. The Rock is the people's champ. All you have to do is what The Rock tells you. Go see the movies I make. Enjoy the matches I put out. Appreciate The Rock is on the board but oh no. You have to Black Adam The Rock's ass. You don't listen. Well it doesn't matter what you think. You're going to start doing what The Rock tells you.
Austin's music hits. Austin says he really represents the people. The people are tired of being told what to do by jackasses. Stone Cold is here so people stop being told what to do. If you've got a problem with that, we've definitely got a problem Rock.

I had a big business idea for this but realized it would require Netflix to have an Attitude Era section which will likely be banned by next year's Mania. Mostly what I mean is they won't want to focus on another Attitude Era character when they'll be trying to scrub Vince.

Yeah when I heard the Stern clip, I wanted to be surprised that Cena took the wait and see approach, but there doesn’t need to be a full trial to know at least some of the vile stuff Vince did was valid. If/when there’s an investigation, even more will come out.
Then again if there was anyone who would never turn on Vince, it’d be Cena.

One of the rare times they should let him keep his own name.
I'd have him either team with Solo or team with whichever Uso is babyface (I legit can't remember).
Have him debut at Mania and even the odds against the Bloodline side. You can have a babyface run first before turning whenever. Tama & Uso vs. Balor & Priest could be fun, play off the history Tama has with Balor in Bullet Club.

The Rock should go live on social media with one of those rants from a plane. He makes the Smackdown feed go live with what he's doing on social media. Because he's on the board, he's The Rock, and he can do what he wants. Now you've got Rock on social media and Smackdown. When he's done, he announces he's landing in the Smackdown town. Now everyone on social media tunes into Smackdown.
