The Kurt Angle/Stephanie McMahon/Triple H storyline. Unfortunate we didn’t get a proper finish there. I’ve always said it should have been Kurt as Champion vs Triple H at WMX8. Interesting. I always felt it was Trips who put a halt to this program. I believe the original plan was to have Stephanie leave Triple H for Kurt. I think Trips was worried about it happening in real life. |

The Kurt Angle/Stephanie McMahon/Triple H storyline. Unfortunate we didn’t get a proper finish there. I’ve always said it should have been Kurt as Champion vs Triple H at WMX8. Interesting. I always felt it was Trips who put a halt to this program. I believe the original plan was to have Stephanie leave Triple H for Kurt. I think Trips was worried about it happening in real life. There is a lot out there to support that. It’s a real shame. I liked Jericho back then but heel Kurt had so much heat, especially with Trips. There was a good build up of heat with Jericho and Trips going back a couple of years but fans wanted to see “face Jericho” get his vs Trips, not heel Jericho. Kurt would have been far more over as a heel. I honestly believe that story and their match could have survived Hogan-Rock better. |
