Just watched his response. He chose to talk about all the money they made this week. Doesn’t want to get bogged down by the negatives. Well sorry, that doesn’t go away because you don’t want to get bogged down. I would have understood a company line response, but the way he belittled what the accusations were was actually the grossest part of his response. Not a great look. I probably should've read further. Haha.

WWE may have like 3-5 top stars but after that it’s full of people I just don’t give a shit about. I don’t watch so obviously that doesn’t help. As much as I detest the way AEW presents itself and the type of silly backyard bullshit wrestling they do, it feels like they have more stars too to bottom, just maybe not the biggest ones. Kind of a snooze fest for me. No real surprises all night either. I sort of see an AEW compliment in there.
Just you wait, we're winning you back Woodridge, it'll happen, oh yes, it'll happen!

My night of watching wrestling was
Women's Rumble Moxley/Claudio vs. Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty Orange Cassidy vs. Komander Mariah May vs. Lady Frost Eddie Kingston vs. Willie Mack Bryan Danielson vs. Yuji Nagata Serena Deeb vs. Robyn Renegade FTR & Daniel Garcia vs. House of Black in a Steel Cage Men's Rumble
So I was kinda brought back down after watching that Cage match for the Men's Rumble.

It’s definitely a compliment in terms of their roster top to bottom. They’ve spent the money and they got it. My problem with AEW has been execution. Watching Rumble didn’t make me want to watch AEW. Wwe still did enough for me to keep an eye on things because I’m invested in Cody and Punk coming out of Rumble still.

That women’s rumble….made Hogan chair shots look legit. I can’t believe how bad they were.
The men were just boring. They booked it really weird. From my memory, there were very few moments for any wrestler to do a bit of house cleaning, get the spotlight. I think Drew kind got it going a bit. Maybe Gunther. It just felt like they forgot to tell multiple stories throughout the rumble. They leaned on showing how long wrestlers were in the ring. Man, it was boring.

Thought more about this Rumble and how boring it was. A couple other things came to mind for me.
1. There wasn’t much drama when we got to the final four. Gunther isn’t ready to be a Wrestlemania main event draw. Personally I think a lot of people are bored with Drew at this point and it just didn’t seem like there was a chance for him. This leaves you with the two stars that had airtime earlier in the week to basically lay out why they wanted it or needed it the most. And to top it off, they’re both “against the establishment” type babyfaces. For me, I was invested when it was down to the two but I kind of didn’t care who won. There was a positive either way. I think having a split crowd is probably a better way to go here and I don’t feel that’s the case. Cody’s fans seem to be Punk’s fans from what I can tell.
2. You really do need a surprise, legit star show up late where you become concerned that the plans they teased may not happen. Was anybody really all the concerned with Zayn came out? My guess is Brock was removed from the card once Vince news popped up. He probably was supposed to be 30. Brock comes out and we’d all be thinking “fuck, they might go this route.” Same goes for The Rock, Cena, help, corporate Kane….youd have a sick feeling that they are about to rob Cody and Punk. I never really worried about it coming down to Punk Rhodes once Zayn came out.

Supposedly Bron Breaker took the Brock spot, at least according to Meltzer.
