Wow. That is great. I can't stand Triple H or Bruce, but that's a nice story.

AEW people are NOT happy tonight. Haha What are you seeing online? Nothing new really. The same "Haha people think this is actually good suck" stuff. This really hit the nail on the head for me.

Trevor Dame is right. The tribalism in society is out of control. And it's in everything, politics, sports, wrestling. You're either with this side or that side.

Trevor is a fun follow because he does have fun with it.
But he loves his AEW.

I'm learning that it's actually more fun being a casual fan in some ways. I was able to step back and enjoy the show moreso than if I watched week to week. Sometimes I think we as wrestling fans nitpick a lot. This is isn't a knock to anybody here. Just an observation about myself. I probably have a 10k word response but this is an outstanding assessment. It's somewhat hypocritical on my part, because this group in many ways was founded on bitching. It was a creation of the Cena/Orton era, but more importantly the "Vince does what he wants" era. Wrestling fans that wanted to be entertained so we entertained ourselves. Wait, NM. Part of the reason my complaining went down considerably is a couple of factors. One, we added another company that was providing what we were looking for. Two, I was fortunate enough to get to sniff what it's like to operate at that level. It's fucking hard. I've seen what it takes to get started out in wrestling, even when it's a little easier today. It's fucking hard. Finally, I've seen what it takes to try stuff out with everyone watching. Knowing you're probably going to fail because winning every time is impossible. It's fucking hard. So when someone botches a spot, you'll rarely see me posting it. When a company is doing stuff I don't like, mostly keep my mouth shut. I try to reserve my bitching to things like one sociopath using his boomer power to control people trying to chase their dreams. Because the rest is just humans giving things a shot. For every "lol, looks like Cody won't finish the story" Mark, you see their last post. Typically about an Uber Eats driver not having more empathy for Taco Bell being out of whatever their favorite code of Mountain Dew is that day. But part of the reason we still watch wrestling is because something about it made us want to consume every last bit of content possible. I haven't watched the 2016 World Series once since it was over. That was a wildly important time in my life. But I can watch a bad WrestleMania from the 80's at any time. That passion can go the wrong direction. That's what we see more and more out of "diehard" anything. As Kid pointed out, this is much more of an IWC issue instead of this place. But enjoying things and avoiding the rest seems like a solid goal, Kid.

I like Samantha’s ring announcing and how she goes nuts at big moments. Cody one, no doubt. But it did feel like she started crying and getting choked up after literally every new champion. That part is overkill. It’s like Sasha or Charlotte breaking down after every title they won..
Again, this moment with Cody is fucking great, so don’t get it twisted.
That said, if Ricochet ever wins another title of any kind in WWE, she better lose her damn mind, lol.
