Wish the match didn’t revolve around that fucking bracelet and wish this would’ve been something more, but it was storyline heavy (maybe to keep the Punk physicality to a minimum?) and I assume this will continue for months.

That's what it made it so brilliant. A stupid bracelet and they made an entire match around it. That is how you do it. It was still super physical - some of those chops Drew put in were crushing. All around perfectly booked match. |

Drew vs Punk Priest vs Gunther Sami vs Bron Logan vs Knight Rhea vs Liv Bayley vs Nia Cody vs Solo 7 matches, all singles. Is this the first Summerslam in history with no tags? Interesting. Even though I only care about maybe 3 of these actual matches (more interested in angles than the wrestling) credit them for not overpacking the show. Drew Gunther Bron Knight Liv Bayley (Stratton cash in) Cody I’m 100% aligned on all those predictions. |

Does commentary really need to be driving home how much Judgment Day always watches each others backs when Dom turned on Rhea in the opener? Takes away any and all suspense of Balor turning, which everyone knew would happen.
I did really like the ending though.

I get what they were doing, just had to get to the destination quicker. Especially when you know guys will be running out and also Roman returning. Fans just sitting on their hands until it happens. |
