You have to at least applaud the effort. Calvert would.

Calvert 4 hours from now is a completely different story. I'd lick her bum if she would at least sing it to me.

I didn't want to post the same guy twice in a night but I found this song to be awesome....especially because it was written in honor of Blake Shelton talking shit about old school country. The guitar work is fucking awesome. I love a good steel guitar jam like this.

I thought Buddy Roberts died?
Edit: Actually he's like a Buddy/Pat Patterson combo. I'll listen anyways. This better be good.

That was a good sound. The more I look at him, he looks almost exactly like that one actor. Can't think of his name, but I know I'll know it if I hear it. First correct answer and I'll make somebody a moderator. Except Juiced.

I get a Fred Willard vibe from him...fred dyes his hair though yet is probably older.

I have no idea who this is but I dig it. This is what someone talented sounds like before Nashville destroys them. Not the same as Dale...he is his own kind of country...but still rockin.

This is the direction I'd prefer new school country to go instead of Match Box 20 and Goo Goo Dolls.

They were amazing. One only needs so much money. He is going to regret selling out. Never go for the lump sum.

This is the direction I'd prefer new school country to go instead of Match Box 20 and Goo Goo Dolls. I almost posted one of their songs!! I like it. I like them in the southern acoustic rock genre of new country.

I like it. Are they local to IL/WI since they reference the Illinois River?

This was the singer of a local punk band when I lived in San Diego and I heard he did some country stuff....its pretty impressive from what I remember of his other band that I never liked.

I like it. Are they local to IL/WI since they reference the Illinois River? Oklahoma. They're apart of the Oklahoma/Texas country scene. I believe that's where Whiskey Myers and the Casey Donahew cat came out of too. Staying away from the glitz and shitty Pop producers in Nashville is where the good stuff is at these days it looks like.

Absolutely. Nashville ruins talent. Dale Watson is from Austin and he is grouped with those guys as well.
