I actually would prefer it isn't happening. I guess I should have known he wasn't a great guy. He's a successful college basketball coach. But I kind of like Bo Ryan and I have a feeling this is going to be pretty bad.

No I know he didn't leave by choice, I'm just saying he's not coaching Illinois anymore, therefore he's the enemy. I should rephrase, I don't hate him, I just don't like him anymore. I'm petty like that, haha.
I have family on both sides of the river, Iowa & Illinois, so fans of each. My level of dislike for Bruce Weber isn't near the level of hate I have for Steve Alford, who bailed on Iowa, haha.

To reach a certain level in college coaching, you have to be a bit of a scumbag. Alford is close to the center in the team photo. Although full knowledge of coaches prior to our era could push God loving Steven Alford to outside second row. |
