Watched Part 1 of the Benoit thing. It didn't cover the murder suicide, that's Part 2.
Part 1 was the death of Eddie and how it had such an effect on Benoit. Their friendship, upbringing in wrestling, etc.
Chavo telling his story about Eddie the morning he passed was fucking heartbreaking. For some reason I never knew the full details of it.
Don't know if I can watch Part 2 though.

That's what I did with it. Obviously I have my booking based on the seeds. But I wanted to see if people went a different direction which as already happened.

I debated having Rude go over Bert in the first round, but the Shawn-Bert stuff overpowered that desire.

I debated having Rude go over Bert in the first round, but the Shawn-Bert stuff overpowered that desire. Creepy. Decided you have to have one upset. That's why I paired Rude to screw Bert. I already built the rematch angle with Savage v Steamboat. Even though I really wanted Perfect to get the win. It all leads to Savage going over Shawn. Shawn gets his win back for the World Title down the road. |
