Happy 30th anniversary to the opening of the United Center with Summer Slam '94!
I was so pumped to be able to work inside and not at a gate that night so I could watch the show.

I remember everyone being nervous about stuff not working al getting all the kinks worked out before the Bulls opened up, and I was just happy to be able to see Brian Lee's greatest performance.

Razor vs. Diesel was the best match on the show. I never liked the Bret/Owen cage match. Watched it months ago and I still don't.
This was the final year of WWF PPVs having designated nights of the week. SummerSlam was on a Monday. Fun fact: I started high school the next day.

So basically standing around and watching the show. Also how I got to see Grateful Dead that summer at Soldier Field. |

Still has my all time favorite and least favorite Summerslam matches in history back to back on it. Bret/Owen is arguably the greatest cage match ever. Taker/Taker…was brutal.

However, is Netflix going to drop $5B on WWE and show how awful the company "was" with Vince? Unless they're doing the opposite and trying to kill Vince publicly to show how great their investment is now without him. My guess is there will be a couple of surprising negative things so they can say it was unbiased but mostly pro-WWE and Vince. |

Apparently a lot of the interviews with talent were done prior to the Janel Grant news.
My expectations are very low for this.
This old fuck needs to be exposed for the monster he is and not have a documentary praising him for revolutionizing wrestling while being a little scamp who had some no-nos come up from time to time.
