Fatty Wilson carried that song. Carrie did very little except look not fat. That part can never be underrated when performing with Adele Wilson.

Wait. Did you say no to Mellancamp? He is cool but much better earlier than now. I kind of couldn't stand him for the longest time. Didn't like him in my teens to early 20's. Grew up in Racine, WI which wasn't necessarily a small town, but after living in Cicero, Joliet, Countryside, Deerfield, and Chicago for about 10 years or so, somewhere in there Mellancamp grew on me. When I was working in Chicago, and seeing nothing but concrete and buildings for a couple years, I started missing simple things like trees and grass even. At some point, Small Town became my mantra sone for bringing me back to Wisconsin and closer to my son. Long story. But I ended up liking Small Town, Cherry Bomb, Check It Out, etc...... Now that I'm in Appleton (and Racine for that matter) it just all makes sense to me. The small town is definitely what I'm most suited for. John Cougar Mellancamp is a bad man.

I need an additional ruling on David Lee Roth - Van Halen, as well as the Cars.

By the way, when I was looking up a couple things on John Mellancamp in my browser, my first suggested site that kep popping up was JohngysBeat. I feel thankful for that.

Scarecrow was the first CD my dad had and I remember rocking out to it a ton. He had the one before on record!!! and I remember rocking out to that as well.
John Cougar is legit. Those first 3 albums are a lot to live up to. His sons sound like some bad asses. I dont know if they are in the music game but they have been raising hell in their first year at college. I think one plays football at Duke??

DLR is a god, VH is good but only great with him.
The cars have the ugliest man alive as their lead yet they rock and he bangs supermodels.

The cars have the ugliest man alive as their lead yet they rock and he bangs supermodels. In actuality, even though Ric Ocasek is about as creepy looking as it gets, the late, great, Benjamin Orr is the favorite of many CARS fans. He was a stud, was awesome, and appeared on many of the bands greatest hits as the lead. Drive wasn't necessarily at the top of my Cars totem pole, but Ben kicked it's ass something fierce at Live Aid. (Followed immediately by Just What I Needed.) Bad ass.

Walking Dead and football will keep me entertained this night.
And beer will help overcome the terrible Bears game.
