Enjoy sir. I've definitely realized I've become the guy that doesn't see anything the world has to offer the last decade. Need to fix that.

Come visit. You will never want to go back. There are 3 places to see green in this world - Oregon, North Carolina, and Ireland. You can drive to one of those places in 12 hours.

I don't think I've done a Christmas like this for twenty years. Still going. Might bump into Santa.

Surf Wax IPA. Elixir of the Old Ones. Traditional IPA, not one of these over the top New England style IPA that is all the rage with hipsters.

I had a couple of Imperial eleven percent type deals a while back and I was done the next day. I wasn't boxed, just hungover as shit the next day.

Well these aren't 11% - 6.5% or so. But even with the big beers I rarely get hungover, I dunno good genes I guess

I'm drinking Icehouse and pouting about yet another Bucks loss. I haven't had Icehouse in quite the while. Like, fifteen years. But, I did enjoy it back in the day, and it led to questionable decisions.

Haven't watched "Big" in years. Alcohol and Tom Hanks. There are worse things.

Plus the taste totally works for me. This might be a better find than even the Thompson was!

"Oh, they have Icehouse kegs" was a thing. If the host house played their cards right, they could maximize the door charge. It wasn't a wasted literal dollar for the consumer. If you made friends with the right people, you were too boxed early. Fell through my first (not mine) screen at an Icehouse party on a street called fourth.

Icehouse, hmm now there's a (bad) idea for today's game. I may just grab a 6 or 12 pack...plus LaVine is back.

Story time with Drop In. I'm at a party in college with Icehouse kegs. The cover was $4 instead of $3, but the kick in alcohol content made this price increase justified. I didn't have all of the social graces Sophomore Year Drop In would attain. My friends and I had a habit of setting up shop right by the keg. On this night, the party was at a house with a huge bay window. So we sat in the window not even getting up to pee. No breaking the seal. I did eventually get up to go to the bathroom and saw a super cute girl from one of my classes on the deck. Went back to my seated position to a beer ready for me. I probably didn't realize at the time our consumption could be roughly double because of our prime spot. Finally, I've got enough liquid courage to head for the deck. But I've again been sitting for about an hour. I get up, take a few steps, but I realize something is wrong. My legs didn't work. My last four motions towards the back door were that of a sprinter with a torn quad. I proceeded to go through the screen door onto the deck, where about twenty people were ready for something cool to happen. Glad I could oblige. That was my first lesson that Icehouse was not Keystone Light.

Haha. I accomodated the “one more time chants” many times on my 19th bday down at UIUC. I puked again and again. At least it wasn’t on Icehouse.
