I know she's pop Taylor now (and has been), but it sounds like a song she'd write if she started in pop music when she was 15 instead of country music.

Swifty dropped her new album at midnight last night. I'm 11 tracks in. It beats the shit out of her last album. This isn't poppy bullshit because apparently this was recorded completely during quarantine.
Just a heads up. It's really solid stuff.
And because I know my audience here, in one song, she says the line "Or does she mouth "fuck you forever"?" And I didn't realize there were extra quotes in that line, it almost floored me, haha.

Yeah I've listened to it 3 times since I posted originally. I can't stand the poppy bullshit songs (although I'd be lying if I said 1989 wasn't a guilty pleasure listen that I'm fully aware I should be ashamed to admit), which is why I didn't like her last few albums at all. Reputation & Lover were not good.
It took a pandemic & quarantine for Swifty to get back to making good music.

I like folklore more, but evermore is really good stuff. They compliment each other well. These two albums have been her best work in years.
Willow is a great single.
