Some Wrestlers are exceptional for their size, their strength, their technique/signature moves or their showmanship. Therefore, it's a subjective thing, but who would be your top 3 and why? I would never use a poll for this, because inevitably there would be great ones not included.
1) The Rock-A great showman, with catch-phrases and and moves including the most electrifying move in sports entertainment today.Tag team with Mick Foley great too.
2) Hulk Hogan-Superhuman size, and it was all muscle. He had size and strength, showmanship and was great as a hero or villain. He made Wrestlemania huge.
3) Rowdy Roddy Piper- As colorful as they get. Just a fun guy to watch. I know there were plenty of better wrestlers, but he's my #3.
Honorable Mentions to Steve Austin, Randy Savage and Andre the Giant. Giant was huge and strong, but too fat and not a great showman. Probably in part because he didn't speak (english) all that well.

1. Chris Jericho - The most talented man in the world. 2. Hulk Hogan - Best face AND best heel of all time 3. Greg Gagne - First wrestler I loved. I can't explain it. It's probably embarrassing.

I stopped watching wrestling after middle school so my picks will might make the experts mad. I didn't know wrestling had so much complexity. These were my favorites as a tike: 1. Mankind/Cactus Jack/Mick Foley 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin 3. X-Pac I loved Socko and Bronco Buster moves. Honorable mentions: Dudley Boys: Bring out the tables! Ken Shamrock: I thought he was a lunatic Al Snow: Took me until 7th grade to get the "head" thing

I'm nearly certain that is the first time that X-Pac has made anybody's Top 3. Then again, Greg Gagne.

The best of all time can be debated forever, but who your favorites are is your decision. Whether is X-Pac, Greg Gagne or Rowdy Roddy Piper, I doubt the top 3 of anyone is going to be universally approved. There is going to be someone who you liked for whatever reason, who really wasn't probably in the all-time top 10 list of "experts". By the way Kirkwood, I think Mankind (later Mick Foley) was a demented genius.

What can I say? When you're in recess and score a touchdown there's nothing better than giving an exaggerated "suck it"

I know how boring this list is going to be.
1) Hogan 2) Austin 3) Rock
The talent standpoint isn't in question. I got into wrestling because of Hogan. Austin and Hogan ushered in an era where wrestling was at an unmatched point of entertainment. Rock is probably by all-time favorite entertainer.

Top 3 is just impossible for me. Top of my head Hogan, Rock, Kurt Angle, HBK. No particular order and I can't figure out which one to leave off. I'd struggle to do a top ten. Hell, CM Punk has for to be somewhere around this list.

The Fabulous Ones are a great tag team that gets kind of lost in the mix. The Sheepherders reputation gets hurt by their Bushwhackers run.

I was just trying to think back to my old Memphis wrestling days, many, many years ago.

I felt kind of bad having to put the hex on him though. Love the fire and passion and love that he was a badass player. Gary spun it a whole different way today when he called in to the Big Show. Almost called him the leader of the whole damn team. (As far as coaches go) So we'll see. Anywho, back to wrestling......

I agree, Top 3 is a tough one. I have a Top 5 that will pretty much never change.
1. Macho Man Randy Savage - lot of people were Hogan guys growing up, I liked Hogan, but Savage was #1 2. Shawn Michaels 3. Bret Hart 4. Ric Flair 5. Ricky Steamboat
CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Mr. Perfect, Ted Dibiase, Roddy Piper round out the Top 10

I've been falling behind on my podcasts. I'm subscribed to 14 of them, mostly comedy ones. Jericho, Cabana's & Austin's are the wrestling ones I listen to. So many to keep up with. I tend to stick with guests I like these days.

When he was starting out, I was literally, (for real) choked up laughing. When he would go to a commercial break, he was in full Stone Cold mode. But, he sounded like a thirty year radio vet. Amazing.
