I once again spoke too soon. Big Cass backstage promo annoyed me. He's dressed up like he's ready for school pictures. He said he had "an appearance at a fair" and took the Height Requirement thing they have for rides. He apparently brought that with him to the show tonight. He said Bryan doesn't measure up and in for a ride at MITB.
So ungodly awful. I hate Big Cass.
Corbin is better than Cass.

Asuka tapped Carmella for the win. This was super sloppy in spots. Then it just turned into each woman hit a big move leading to the finish.
Naomi, Charlotte, Lana and Becky all surround Asuka and stare up at the briefcase to end the show. Which was silly, but whatever.
Positives far outweighed the negatives on this show. Which you can't say for almost any RAW's anymore.

Your review will cause me to give it some time later in the week.

No accent for Lana this week; either stay Russian or go American.

Despite vignettes hyping their debut ending like a month ago and hearing nothing since, Sanity will debut tonight on Smackdown.

Jesus. Aside from not being close to as good as Alexa at this type of promo, it's the same fucking promo Alexa does after every big event. 22 writers. But the outfit is roll damn tide.

No reason Sanity can't get over on the main roster. All different characters. Young can talk. Like it.

Sanity isn't in the Vaudevillains/Ascension/No Way Jose category.
You have a singles star in Young and a solid team in Dain and Wolfe. Honestly out of all of them, Dain is the biggest star and hopefully they eventually see that, just not super soon.

I'd also like to think the Bludgeon Brothers helped Miz tonight because he promised them shiny new hammers.

So it's Rusev vs AJ for the title at some point, I assume Extreme Rules? I'm actually all for that. It's something new.
Looks like we're headed for Nakamura/Hardy, Bryan/Miz, Usos/Sanity.
Not sure where this leaves Joe for the time being, but they've got plenty of time. Almas needs to do something too.

If they reduced it, the shots would look like Dunn directing a match.

I somehow managed to avoid the results throughout the night and watched most of the show very late last night / this morning. VERY pleased with Rusev getting the win. Wasn't expecting that.

Sanity seems like the only team they should actually have camera shaking for.
If Kevin Dunn wasn't such a spaz and shitty director, shaking the camera and doing so many cuts on every match, then the Sanity entrance would have some unique appeal.

Really? I actually enjoy them. Peyton is my favorite of the two, but like I've said before on here, they're the perfect annoying heels. They're bitchy Australians.
Crowd still doesn't give them anything though, which, aside from Becky (who is the most over as she's ever been arguably) and Charlotte (solely for the crowd going Woooo), not many of the women get much reaction on SD, which is unfortunate.
It's weird, I enjoyed Billie Kay's wrestling in SHIMMER before she came to NXT/WWE, but on the main roster, wrestling wise, not impressive at all. Peyton is good, but not great in the ring either.

Nakamura vs Hardy won't happen tonight. Shinsuke was bit in the leg by a police dog yesterday.
That's one of the oddest sentences I've written, even for a wrestling thread.
Anyways Peyton vs Becky, Rusev vs Woods and some ladies from GLOW will appear on the show (I can only hope it's Alison Brie), also MizTV with the Bludgeon Bros.

What the hell?
How does he get bit by a police dog?

They probably asked him not to pet the dog and his response was "Don't...speak...English"

Alison Brie was on the show tonight!!! Hooray for her hottness!!!
Also Topanga is front row. She tweeted about seeing Lio Rush's debut on 205 Live after SD. Which is really cool if you know the backstory of her seeing him at PWG and bought his last shirt he had there.

The Ellsworth promo. I popped.

Team Hell No is back. Kane saved Bryan from the Bludgeons.
I'm fine with it. SD is heavy on heels. Bryan needed a guy to have his back fighting them all.
Let's just remember Team Hell No and forget when they feuded in 2014.

Filler nostalgia. Love it. We don't want to blow our Daniel Bryan load in six months, which was happening right after Mania.

Bryan and Kane are hugging again. The Usos hugged each other many times tonight. I want to hug Paige for a long time.

If you hug Paige for a long time, just don't forget the Purell.
Whole ep was fine, built the matches for the PPV well. Asuka/Ellsworth was fine for what it was. Main event was good. Sanity thankfully beat the shit out of the pancake party. And Becky continues to be my favorite.
SD even on its bad weeks is so much better than RAW, which I've completely given up on at this point.
