Sin Cara II defeated Wade Barrett. Because why not? Sin Cara II has the gimmick of a failed Sin Cara I, and the physique of Mil Mascaras I in 1996. Why not give him a mini-push over a possible main event guy. Great stuff. Spot on. Sell those masks Vince.

Business really picked up in the second part of that match and Bryan got the win at the 14:19 mark. I really didn't see where Bryan changed his in-ring style whatsoever. Rollins continues to shine in anything he's involved with.
Bryan v. Kane next week with Daniel's spot in the Rumble on the line. And I thought I saw a poster where Bryan wasn't pictured for the Rumble. I have no idea what any of that means.

Seeing as Barrett is in the Rumble & starting to do a feud now wouldn't get much attention. A 2 week program with a name like Sin Cara doesn't bother me that much. No way would they have him lose the title & it's Hunico, not the botchfest first Sin Cara, so the match itself was fine tonight. That ending was solid, the springboard into the Bull Hammer. Gives Barrett that RKO-effect that he can hit it out of nowhere.
Rollins & Heyman were fantastic. Rollins has improved so much since they first started letting The Shield talk, it's great. Meanwhile, the Roman promo wasn't terrible like Monday, but it was more awkward than anything. He's trying to be Joe Cool with his sound effects & winking at Renee leaving the shot, it's stupid. It takes me out of anything I'm supposed to be interested in.
Not saying Reigns won't be ready eventually, but I truly hope he doesn't win the Rumble.

I agree with all of this other than the specifics of the Barrett Sin Cara deal. Barrett should've just crushed him twice. Having him lose to Sin Cara last week is just inexplicable. I might have to watch that Rollins/Heyman interaction one more time. And I almost never watch stuff twice. But it was just that damn good. |

Yeah I get it. Sin Cara really has no reason being in that spot, defeating him in the non title & getting a shot the following week. Especially since he hasn't been featured on the main roster for ages aside from squash matches. Honestly, why they didn't use someone like Swagger. I wouldn't have minded Swagger getting the pin & title shot.
Then again Swagger put Barrett on the shelf if I remember correctly. So they should probably keep Swagger the hell away from him.
