Kendall definitely channeled Logan. Hopefully this was the end for most of the supporting cast, and the finale next week focuses only on the main players. I think I've watched a total of 3 hours of the Emmy Awards in my life. I will probably watch the next one just to see these actors take everything. My goodness.

There's nobody to beat them up now, so they search it out. I was repeating "no" in my head the entire time he was walking outside.

Yeah you knew what he was doing and you hoped someone would stop him.
Kendall beat him up good. I think Roman realized that, once again, he couldn't get it up in a big moment.
Now it's Shiv against Kendall.

By the way, kudos to everyone on the executive and writing teams as well. They're laying out the ills of society and their root cause in a way that is somewhat easy to understand for the most complex of topics.

Spoiler for those who haven’t seen the latest Ted Lasso
So Roy & Keely go to Jamie’s moms house and see his childhood home/bedroom. So we see a young Roy Kent poster that we’re to believe Jamie looked up to growing up, ok cool, I get that.
But we then see a hot ass poster of Keely with soccer balls covering her goodies. Which begs the question, if this is Jamie’s childhood room, HOW THE FUCK OLD IS KEELY SUPPOSED TO BE? She’s insanely gorgeous don’t get me wrong, but I thought she was supposed to be Jamie’s age.
I could be missing the point of that and I know the punchline was Keely saying “fuckin hell” like Roy, but I couldn’t figure that out.
Anyways great episode overall though, finale next week.

Keely I think is in her late twenties/early thirties. The poster was probably when she first started modeling.
The Nate stuff has been handled awfully, but I like the destination they got to. The Beard story was amazing. So was Ted's talk with his mom. He channeled his Cornette on that one.
Thank you. And fuck you.

I think had the series been set up to go longer then they could’ve done the Nate storyline better. I do like how they got there as well, especially with Beard revealing his own story to him.
The fact they got the mom from Freaks and Geeks to be Teds mom was awesome.

Succession and Barry series finales tonight.
Ted Lasso (season?) finale on Wednesday.
Some really good shows ending their runs while they're still on top.

I agree with that with the exception of the "Trump Era" inclusion. That's been the American way for 40+ years now.

Barry finale was good, but a little bit goofy as well.

Barry finale was good, but a little bit goofy as well. I think the Oh Wow moment was perfect, but after that it was weird. He definitely should not have been made out to be a hero and surprised Fuchs just walked. But I do like that Cousineau was the bad guy and his hubris was his downfall. And I need more NoHo Hank somewhere in my TV viewing.

Agree with all of that.
The movie was ridiculous, but maybe that was the point.

I agree with that with the exception of the "Trump Era" inclusion. That's been the American way for 40+ years now. You're probably right and people are more out there with it now. Why hide it if there are no consequences and only benefits?

Agree with all of that. The movie was ridiculous, but maybe that was the point. I just finished and would’ve been perfectly content with the “oh wow” moment being the end. Having their story turned into this sort of Lifetime Channel movie was an odd flex.

Ted Lasso.
Well done.

Yeah that was wrapped up nicely.
A few minor storylines I was kind of let a little down by, but nothing major to take away from the overall story told.

I still think they can come back for more, too.
Not as Ted Lasso, but as AFC Richmond maybe.

Oh for sure, Beard/Roy/Nate as the coaches, they have the opening with how the season finished.
I didn’t like how Rebecca’s love story wrapped.
Also wasn’t a fan of Keely/Jamie/Roy’s ending, but then again, it could still be told if they did a spin off.

I didn't mind either Rebecca's or Keely's story.
Rebecca might not last with the Dutchman, maybe the one night was magic but every day is maddening. And Keely realizing she doesn't need to be defined by either Jamie or Roy was fine too.
Many are mad about the beginning of the episode and felt it was a cruel fakeout. I didn't think so, though.
One criticism I did have was not showing any of the fallout from Ted's initial decision to leave. By the time we get to it, everyone is kind of in the acceptance phase. I would've liked to see some of those conversations and interactions, specifically with the team.

Yeah I think the beginning was their way of acknowledging what a lot of fans hoped would happen with Ted and Rebecca.
I was let down there was no interaction with Sam & Rebecca, which they’d been slightly teasing throughout the season. Then all of a sudden Rebecca runs into the Dutchman and that was it? Felt like there was much more to be had there with her & Sam and there wasn’t.
Also Ted wouldn’t show up to Beards wedding? That would never happen. At the very least Ted would be there in some capacity.
Again, these are light criticisms, but I enjoyed the finale overall

I thought it was great. It had the impossible task of wrapping it up and meeting everyone's expectations. I am really happy with the entire series and the story it told all while seeing these characters genuinely develop. A+

Damien Sandow pops up in this season of I Think You Should Leave, which is just as batshit crazy and hilarious as you'd expect

Speaking of batshit crazy, the season 3 finale of Dave was last night
Wild ass cameo/guest spot for an A List celebrity and an even crazier plot, yet it still seemingly wrapped the season up well.
Zero clue if it comes back for season 4, but the show is great.
