Just couldn't do it tonight. True Detective has ruined all other TV watching for me. At least for 2 more weeks. I was going to switch over, and they announced Wyatts v Shield. I had the remote in hand trying to decided what to do. True Detective will start soon. If you trust my judgement, catch that match. Unbelievable. I'll watch True Detective and catch up down the road. I'm so conflicted. Haha. |

RKO v Batista v Bryan at Mania. Book it. DB wins the title, 75k fans do the "YES!" gimmick to end Mania. He won't get a straight match. The buyrates for Summer Fest and Battleground, with DB in the main event, were horrific. Like lowest PPV buys ever bad. But I still think he's in it.

"The Authority" hasn't been on TV for a couple weeks. That could be laying low. But I can't imagine Hunter is going to try to get himself over tomorrow. Not that he doesn't think he's better than Hogan, Taker, or Buddy Rodgers. Hell, they might remove Frank Gotch from his coffin tomorrow to pimp this network. But he knows he wouldn't be positioned properly. Maybe he's decided to take this Mania season off? I'm not saying that will happen, but I think they know what they have to do. Even if it's as painful as Vince with a Taiwanese hooker on a Tuesday.

Say what we will about Orton and Batista. They can still go. Bryan wins. 75k fans are doing the "YES!" deal. Right before the confetti hits, Brie comes running down. They look at each other before the big hug. She starts crying and jumps in his arms. All of a sudden, the face roster starts walking down the ramp. While they're celebrating in the ring, the face roster starts clapping at the edge. Hogan is right there with them, clapping, somewhat leading it on. Close scene with DB holding two titles and Brie, and the face roster clapping. You just made a WM moment that would be tough to top. You go forward with the network, etc. embracing the "YES!" chants. Even though they don't think DB can me mainstream, the chant will be. Send him around with a hot chick on his side. I've learned from experience. That definitely raises you Q level. All of this could happen, and you have an organic white hot run of wrestling. But what do I know? |

That sounds awesome. Thats why it wont happen.  My cynicism is at an all time high with Vince and Co. I refuse to be worked anymore. I just don't trust them to do the best for wrestling since they haven't in almost a decade now. |

Shield/Wyatts was epic. Nascar messed around with me giving my full attention to this deal but everything went according to script: Wyatts winning, Orton winning, NAO winning etc....
If I were to look back, Speeps probably had a perfect score on his predictions.
RAW tomorrow night and/or RAW in Chicago better be something way over the top special.
I'm looking forward to listening to the LAW. I imagine it's on in about 10 minutes.
