I can't think of the last time there was a "major" weekly wrestling show that I didn't at least DVR and watch in seven minutes. I think I've watched seven minutes of Impact in the last month.

Although I could be wrong.
He was also part of the original Ascension in NXT. But was released from WWE on November 30, 2012 after being charged with battery of a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication in St. Petersburg, Florida. He had previously been arrested in January 2011 for driving under the influence.
So he's got that going for him.

WWE announced Tuesday additional details on the "NXT Takeover" special airing on WWE Network this week.
The special begins Wednesday night with an "NXT Takeover Preview" at 10:00 p.m. EST on the Network. Included will be Renee Young interviewing Ric Flair and Bret Hart.
The NXT Takeover pre-show takes place on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. EST leading into the two-hour NXT special.
"NXT Takeover" will then kick off with Adam Rose and the Exotic Express at 8:00 p.m. EST. This will lead into the advertised card:
- NXT Title match: Adrian Neville vs. Tyson Kidd.
- #1 contender match: Sami Zayn vs. Tyler Breeze.
- NXT Women's Title match: Charlotte (w/Ric Flair) vs. Natalya (w/Bret Hart) in the tournament finals to determine a new champion.
- NXT Tag Title match: The Ascension vs. Kalisto & El Local.
- Adam Rose vs. Camacho.

Bram is Kenneth Cameron, who was part of the Ascension with Connor O'Brian, then he beat up a cop & got fired.
NXT Takeover looks pretty good. Kidd/Neville should be fantastic. If this is the way we get to see Tyson Kidd wrestle, I guess it's better than nothing. Zayn/Breeze should be great as well. We all know Generico is great, but Breeze has been pretty good to watch too. Ascension vs Kaliston/Ricardo should be whatever, not a fan of the Ascension.
The Nattie/Charlotte match should be eh, I can't stand Charlotte, but it's obvious they're putting the title on her, since putting it on Nattie is pointless. I just think she's really sloppy in the ring. Despite Nattie being great, this will be nowhere near as good as the first Emma/Paige match (not the 1st NXT show though, the tournament final before that)

Wow, though I guess if it gets him on TV, do whatever it takes, since they clearly aren't going to push him as Tyson Kidd. Fingers crossed he isn't The Calgary Kidd.
Is it just so they can merchandise lucha gear? Sin Cara constantly gets squashed & Rey hasn't been healthy for more than 3 months in the last what seems like 4 years, I guess it makes sense in a way. I think we won't see Rey wrestle anymore & just do an ambassador deal, so having a guy like Kidd, under a mask or not, if it results in an actual push, I'm all for it.
Despite being in NXT though, Kalisto is a good worker, hopefully they do something with him. Also, isn't it about damn time Sami Callihan debuts his Solomon Crowe gimmick on NXT TV?

Kidd worked a couple matches a little while ago as a luchadore teaming with el local, itd be better Cuz the dude can go in the ring and
he could then keep that charisma black hole that is his mouth shut

A nearly 20 minute women's match was the shocker of the night.

Just felt the need to cap this. This was how Paul E. looked when he had to manage Ryback.
Renee: You don't want to be a Rosebud?
Heyman: I've always enjoyed just being a lemon.
Loved that line on the post show. Sami Zayn dancing was pretty good too. I also didn't realize that the guy playing the lemon was GQ Money from XPW from back in the day. Kinda interesting.
As for the show, Kidd/Neville was great & I'm happy Breeze had his best match I've ever seen with Zayn. The ladies match I'm glad I was dead wrong about, it was great. BUT, how much does Charlotte's finisher suck? After that great match, she wins it off of that really weak finisher. Regardless, aside from that the whole thing was excellent.
