I think Speeps is telling me to quietly go fuck myself sometimes. Which would be OK, because we'd ultimately come to the same conclusion. What? I would never tell you to quietly go fuck yourself. I'd shout it from the highest mountaintop.

Going to bed - this is awful. Being up since 3:30 this am may have something to do with my aggravation and surliness today. You are an awful wrestling AND Nascar fan. You're lucky you're the King of Sheboygan. I admit I am a bad NASCAR fan because really its pretty stupid. I will say last week's race was kind of fun though. Maybe you are right about the short tracks being better races. Maybe. I am probably a worse wrestling fan because there are really very few things enjoyable about the current product for me. Heyman, Wyatts, SHield, Bryan, Punk. I am sorry but Triple H is not going to let Bryan win at Mania, it just isn't going to happen. Triple H hates the IWC so much he is going to put himself over, he can't help it. God listen to me I sound like Chas. Ugh. Also only the Mayor of Sheboygan - I figure lordship will happen organically, kind of like Daniel Bryan.

Triple H is doing his job right now. One way or another, I can't wait to watch Mania with Jackref. We're mostly in our thirties, actively arguing about professional wrestling. Job done. Their target audience is already in as well.
Hell, I found Dougref sitting in the corner of my living room this morning. He was eating the last of my Flaming Hot Jays Potato Chips, and the seasoning gave him a Joker face. Mostly because of dehydration, but he said "Mania, hehehe!" Actually, he might need a trip to the hospital. He might have been bit by a rabid animal. Not sure what happened the last four hours.

You probably fed him Funyans and whiskey after midnight. BIG mistake.

You probably fed him Funyans and whiskey after midnight. BIG mistake. I forced him to shower as well, as even the neighbors were complaining about the smell. At 12:03. Now I have seven Dougref pods. Bubbling. Shifting. I'm sure it will be fine while I head to the St. Louis area today.

Ruh roh...
WWE Raw on Monday, March 17 scored a 2.98 rating, down from last week's 3.09 rating and down from a 3.26 rating two weeks ago.
Raw slipped below the 3.0-level for the first time since the final Raw of 2013.
- Raw averaged 4.075 million viewers, down seven percent from last week's show and down 11 percent from two weeks ago. It was the fewest viewers of the year.
Hourly Break Down: 4.001 million first hour viewers (fewest of the year), increase to 4.174 million second hour viewers (fewest of the year), and slight decline to 4.051 million third hour viewers.
The bright spot was the third hour only declining three percent from the second hour, as compared to 10 percent, 4 percent, and 9 percent the past three weeks.
WWE placed the highly-rated Daniel Bryan-Triple H feud in the final segment of the show, which appeared to help offset Raw's typical third hour slide.
- In the demographic ratings, Raw took a big hit in the key male demos of m18-34 and m18-49 to month-low levels. Raw also took a hit among general viewers, male and female.
The final hour scored the highest m18-34 rating of the night, but only slightly higher than the third hour. The reverse was true for m18-49, which scored highest in the second hour before declining in the third hour.
On cable TV Monday night, Raw still ranked #1 in overall viewers and in the male demos.
- One year ago this week, Raw slid to a 3.09 rating after scoring a 3.35 rating the week before.

They took a hit because their target demographics were out getting shitfaced on car bombs and green beer.

There's really nothing going on for key demographics. The Latino/Hispanic/Mexican market doesn't really have anybody doing anything. Rey Rey is no longer a factor, Sin Cara(s) suck, are they even still doing the Los Matadores garbage? Del Rio was about the only one slightly doing anything when he wasn't losing to Batista for 7 straight weeks.
The black/African American demographic is only slightly better. Big E WAS doing some good stuff but he's an afterthought these days. Mark Henry should be awesome but they never use him that way and all he does is job to Lesnar every few weeks or so. The rest of the brothers just dance around to varying degrees.
There's no Asian connection whatsoever.
The women's division has been incredibly mundane for the longest time now. Even if they go AJ/Tamina, I don't think Tamina as a face will work very well.
So you're pretty much left with the white/Caucasian fans. Some of which are probably bummed that Punk really is gone and it's finally sunk in. And although he does his on screen job phenomenally well, there's a significant portion of the audience that just hates Triple H.
And even the kids really don't have a hero other than Cena and Bryan. I doubt many 10 year olds are much of a fan of somebody like bray Wyatt.

I thought the kids are supposed to love Sheamus. I thought that was the whole basis behind his horribly shitty face character.
You can't expect great ratings though when you have a segment featuring bad news barrett. I think that horrible god awful shitty eminem wyatts/cena mash up will cost viewers instead of getting any new ones. Whomever was responsible for that better still be in San Antonio being auctioned to the highest bidding cartel.

Additionally, the 'Mania build has been shit.
Lesnar/Taker are hardly ever there........not too mention there isn't a person alive thinking that Taker will lose.
Nobody has any idea what's going on with the tag team division.
Nobody cares about all the jobbers being thrown into another Rumbel for a chance to win a really big trophy.
Nothing definitive with the Women's title going on.
Still nothing definitive with The Shield.
Still nothing happening between all the teased break-ups (Cody/Goldust, Cesaro/Swagger, Shield)
2/3 of the World Title match sucks to most people.
Nothing happening with the Intercontinental Belt or the U.S. belt.
Really, the only interesting things currently to me are the Triple H/Bryan interactions and the Cena/Wyatt stuff. As far as the latter goes, my interest is 95% Bray and 5% Cena.

The Shield stuff has been fantastic in my opinion. I love how they have handled them. The beat down on Kane was awesome monday night. They've really allowed Seth and Roman to speak more. Seth has improved. I'm still not convinced on Roman on the mic. Too bad he is the most babyface ready guy, because he'd be huge with Heyman.

They are kind of mailing it in with the taker/brock match.
Ziggler is still buried.
The Shield break up and Cesaro/Swagger break ups should happen at mania or the night after.
The HHH/Bryan thing is great but probably at the expense of too much HHH.

Don't get me wrong, I love The Shield and basically everything they do but who are they facing at 'Mania? That's what I was trying to say. 2 weeks to go and we have no idea.

Are the shield still doing "whats best for business"? or did that end with them beating down kane....or did they end corporate kane?
I think they are out of the "best for business" group and therefore will face Kane + the new age outlaws. That would be god awful but who knows....it could happen.

How much build do you need for Taker-Lesnar at this point in their careers? I don't like how Taker was kind of a consolation prize for Brock, but that is a minor issue.
The tag team division has the Usos, Coddust, and Real Americans (for now) all chasing the titles. They built a young team up to champions and will have feuds set for at least the next 2-3 months. Then maybe The Ascension comes up and there's another young team. Throw Rowan and Harper in there and there's a rebuilt tag division. No complaints there.
Women's Title is AJ against random Total Divas until she turns on Tamina. Giggity.
The Shield has been interesting as they seemingly went from the breakup storyline to all of them turning face on Monday. I still expect Ambrose and Rollins to break away and let Reigns be a star.
The Main Event is stacked against Bryan. That's why there's 2 heels going to go against the underdog. Perfect booking after the course-correction post-Rumble.
Nothing has been happening with the US or Intercontinental Titles in years. Maybe with the one champion they'll combine both belts and the IC title will go back to being the 2nd most important title in the company.
Bray Wyatt promos and story against Cena will be reminiscent of Cactus Jack vs Sting in psychology. Wyatt will lose the match but come out the other side stronger.

You don't need a ton but I'd like to see them face off in some respect more than twice going into Wrestlemania. As great as Heyman is, something is lost a bit for me when it's just him out there "facing off" against Taker. I also think something is lost in the opponent being Brock. That goes for almost anybody though. It'll still probably be the match of the night. But unless it's Bryan, Cena, maybe Bray, maybe Reigns, nobody is gonna think Taker is losing. I'm writing all this from more of a perspective on what's up with the ratings as opposed to me just Rant™The tag team division has the Usos, Coddust, and Real Americans (for now) all chasing the titles. They built a young team up to champions and will have feuds set for at least the next 2-3 months. Then maybe The Ascension comes up and there's another young team. Throw Rowan and Harper in there and there's a rebuilt tag division. No complaints there. Again, I'm just talking 'Mania build, ratings and timing. I don't have a problem with how they've rebuilt the tag division in the last 6 months to a year. Usos would've been better off winning at 'Maina but either Doggy Dog was hurt or they wanted to quiet the Chicago crowd. So whatever, that's fine but now who are they fighting? Come Monday, there's only 2 weeks - twwwwwoooooo - to give us a proper build. I imagine at this point they're (the E) just going to go with like a 4 team match at 'Mania between the Usos, Real Americans, Rhodes, maybe the Outlaws if healthy, or maybe Harper and Rowan. No idea. And that's my point - we still don't know. No build is my complaint.Women's Title is AJ against random Total Divas until she turns on Tamina. Giggity. Awful. Of all the times they've rushed things, this may be the time to do it most. Paige? Emma? I don't know. The Shield has been interesting as they seemingly went from the breakup storyline to all of them turning face on Monday. I still expect Ambrose and Rollins to break away and let Reigns be a star. But who are they facing at 'Mania? Again - build. It's the build. The Main Event is stacked against Bryan. That's why there's 2 heels going to go against the underdog. Perfect booking after the course-correction post-Rumble. They're doing this one right. After they were forced to.Nothing has been happening with the US or Intercontinental Titles in years. Maybe with the one champion they'll combine both belts and the IC title will go back to being the 2nd most important title in the company. I know they've ignored them forever but at the same time it has pissed me off for forever. Those belts should be on display at 'Mania......just as they should be at most PPV's. I'm getting pissed off more just thinking about it. I think Big E is in the trophy Rumbel and we still don't know what Dean is doing. DAMMITT!!Bray Wyatt promos and story against Cena will be reminiscent of Cactus Jack vs Sting in psychology. Wyatt will lose the match but come out the other side stronger. I can dig this one. I like what it does for Bray. I still would've like to have seen one last blow off between The Shield and The Wyatts at 'Mania. Probably in the cage. The E was probably afraid it would steal the show. But for the most part, I'm ok with this one.

Yeah I read the SD spoilers too. I still have no idea what is going on in the tag division. SPOILER.......Where the hell was Cody & Goldust? They deserve a match on Mania, I don't care if they do face/face. They were the best team the entire year (minus The Shield/Wyatts but I'm not counting them) & don't desrve to be regulated to the battle royal they'll never win. I truly hope we get Usos vs Rhodes Bros vs Real Americans at Mania, but after this Smackdown, I have no clue what the hell we're getting.
Why the hell would the Outlaws need a Mania spot if they do in fact do The Shield vs Kane/Outlaws? Kane too for that matter. Oh well, if The Shield gets the victory & beats up some old folks in the process, so be it, just glad they would be on the card.
Also I think it'd be pretty great to see Taker beat Brock & then have Reigns come out & just beat the piss out of Taker as he's celebrating another Mania win. Turns Reigns into a Heyman guy, have him beat the shit out of Rollins/Ambrose too leading to a feud with them the next 6 months until you could maybe do Taker/Reigns at Summerslam? I'm just trying to think of scenarios I'd kinda like to see. Once Mania is over I pack it in on the creative ideas for at least 8 months.
