When Jericho comes back, he really comes back. He's doing house shows and international tours. A true pro.

Could see Jericho/Wyatt now & then possibly Jericho/Cesaro before he finishes up. I kinda have zero problem with him coming & going as he comes back, huge pop, great matches & promos, leaves & does it all over again. Not this one & done crap like others do/did.
His match with Wyatt on NXT was great & I expect this to be no different. I do agree with you though Ryan, the end of the Cena feud was ehhh. An FU into a crate & that was about it. I mean a 3-4 month feud, I sorta was hoping for more. Wins for Jericho at this point don't mean as much as they do for Wyatt, so I'm sure he'll go over on Y2J.
Also with Cesaro, the back & forth with Jericho/Heyman in promos would be just as awesome as the actual match.

Wrestlemania XXXI: Showcase of the part-timers because we're incredibly inept at creating new stars.

As much as I bought into the SummerFest poster, I don't believe this one. By the way, I think I was right about the SummerFest poster.

Yeah I don't really think Rock will be at Mania.
Brock definitely will.
Batista I don't care if he is or not.

Yoshi Kentasu
WWE SIGNS JAPANESE STAR KENTA
STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE today announced it has signed Kenta, one of Japan’s biggest stars, to its NXT division. The announcement took place during a signing ceremony at a WWE Live Event in Osaka, Japan with WWE icon and Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan presiding.
Kenta’s intense and straightforward in-ring style has led to his success in Japan, as well as during visits to the U.S. He is expected to reach new heights of global success with WWE.
“Kenta is an incredible performer who brings the crowd to its feet when he steps into the ring,” said Paul Levesque, Executive Vice President, Talent, Creative and Live Events, WWE. “WWE’s signing of Kenta reflects our continued dedication to creating a diverse roster that appeals to our global fan base.”
“I am humbled to join WWE’s NXT division and look forward to honing my craft with the global leader in sports-entertainment,” said Kenta.
Kenta will relocate to Orlando, Florida, where he will train at WWE’s state-of-the-art Performance Center to enhance his talents both athletically and creatively.

I don't think the network is available in Japan. What would be a brilliant move is to debut KENTA on the first PPV/Special Event when it's open to the Japanese market. If you want him to be a face, have him win the IC Title. If you want him to be a heel, have him win the US Title. You're welcome, pal.

I like it. Hopefully they don't keep him in NXT forever, but even now, Kenta vs Neville, Kenta vs Generico (when the hell are they pulling the trigger on his call up?), Kenta vs Devitt (hopefully he debuts soon).
I don't see this signing ending up like Botch Cara.

I don't see this signing ending up like Botch Cara. I don't think so either, but I need to get more familiar with his work. Looking back, Sin Cara was doomed from the start. If he entered WCW in 1997, he probably would have been a giant American star.

Charlotte and Sasha Banks had a tag match with Natalya and Boobz at the garden this weekend... sounds fucking terrible, should be on Raw next week.

allow me to clarify.
Boobz Bella is a drop dead gorgeous hotty, so I understand why they insist on putting her on TV.
Sasha Banks is solid. Her in ring work will continue to improve and she seems very comfortable in front of a crowd.
this is the bit where it starts falling apart for me...
Natalya is an ok grappler, maybe even occasionally approaching good, but she's got about twice as much charisma as uncle brett (for those of you without the benefit of a calculator, keep in mind multiplying anything by zero, still gives you zero) she's not hot enough for that to be the sole reason to put her on TV, and her voice is, in the immortal words of legendary WeightWatchers spokesman Charles Barkley, "Turrable. just turrable"
and Charlotte is a gymnast. I don't mean to generalize all gymnasts, I know several and they're great peeps, but they tend to not be the most outgoing and charismatic of ladies. She's wooden on the mic, wooden in the ring, and she's got a bitchy face, and a bad habit of looking slightly past the camera during interviews and promos(giving the illusion (or maybe reality) that she's reading off cue cards). All of those things can be fixed or worked around, but they need to take the time to fix them first, before they get her too used to doing things shittily and still being rewarded for it, because then they never learn how to not suck (Sheamus-ing)
Is the nostalgia people feel for their uncle/father (which I, for the record, do not share, but understand) that is blinding people to these seemingly glaring problems that these 2 have? or am I just plain wrong about this?

I don't know much about Charlotte other than they went back to the Hornets but Natalya has never done a thing for me. In fact it's weird but her and Tyson are actually beginning to look like one another.
I do like her cat thought. Her actual cat. That first sentence of this paragraph was in no way, shape or form a metaphor.

Mark Henry made his return at tonight's WWE live event from MSG. Henry was one of Ric Flair's lumberjacks for John Cena as Cena faced Bray Wyatt. Triple H had lumberjacks of his own to back Wyatt up. At one point, Henry apparently turned heel and threw Cena into the ring post. Towards the end of the main event, which Cena won, Flair got into it with Bray Wyatt and busted him open pretty badly. Wyatt was said to be almost covered in blood.

I just want it to be band so that Y2J can cut more promos about everyone wanting to be him.

According to PWInsider.com, one of the reasons why Paul Heyman was separated from Cesaro on Raw last night is because Brock Lesnar will be returning to WWE very shortly, to begin his push into SummerSlam.
Lesnar’s return could take place as early as next week’s post-Battleground edition of Raw, and Lesnar is the “Plan C” Heyman was referring to last night.
The relationship between Heyman and Cesaro is not necessarily over as a result of last night, but word is they were separated on Raw, and at least “for now,” because of Lesnar’s imminent WWE return.

Sting is featured in an interview with the UK Mirror that focuses on the big WWE 2K15 announcement this Monday, and his plans going forward with the company. The interview also indicates that it was Triple H who Sting had been in contact with over the past few months, and that he is “open” to appearing on Monday Night Raw, and wants to work another match, although nothing has been set in stone as of now.
In answer to all the fans asking “why now?”:
“Why now? It’s a now or never thing. I’ve done so many things in the wrestling business but the one thing I’d never done was wrestle or be a part of the WWE family. I didn’t want too hang it all up and retire and disappear again without having done that in some capacity.”
Having that “one last match” at WrestleMania:
“I’ve made it clear I’d love to have one last hurrah, one last big match hopefully. And of course I’ve been outspoken about Undertaker being the opponent. I know what happened at Wrestlemania where Brock Lesnar broke his streak. I think, or at least I’m hoping, that Taker’s still going to come back and that he’s not done. If he’s not done, and he would consider doing it, I’d love to work with him one time. I’d love to wrestle him one time before I call it quits.”

The build for the Taker/Sting match would be better than the match itself, obviously, but it is one of those matches I'd still like to see before both men hang it up. However, 1 last match, just 1, there's not a chance in hell Sting would come in & defeat Taker.
I didn't really see Sting towards the end of his TNA run, so I don't have anything really to go off of, but Taker looked awful (I'm talking before the concussion) at Mania this year, he just looked every bit of 50 walking down the ramp.
I do want to see someone get whacked with a bat in the back one more time though.

Yeah, I just can't feel the Taker/Sting match anymore. Taker really did look awful before that Mania match even got underway. That should be it for him. It wasn't pretty. Plus, doesn't a guy pretty much go out with a loss? If Taker/Sting occurred, it would mean Taker would have to fight yet another match after that. Ugh.
It would also seem silly to me to have Sting come in and then the 1 and only match he's in he loses.
I wanted to see that match so badly over the years. What a shame.

The SummerSlam main event has been leaked once again. I'm not even gonna link anything. It's exactly who you think it'll be.
