WrestlingDVDNews.com is reporting that the much anticipated Randy Savage DVD will be released on November 18th. There are three editions planned. They will be doing a standard 3 disc DVD, a 2 disc Blu Ray and a collectors edition DVD set box. The title of the DVD is “The Randy Savage Story” and as I noted a couple of months back I was told that the DVD will go into everything that happened between Randy and Vince and what caused their falling out. Lanny Poffo was interviewed and will be heavily involved with the narration. Here is the synopsis: “Macho Man” Randy Savage was best known for his time in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Savage held 20 championships during his professional wrestling career. He held 6 world championships between the WWF and WCW, having won the WWF Championship twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times. A one time WWF Intercontinental Champion, WWE (formerly WWF) has named Savage as the greatest champion of all time. “The Randy Savage Story” focuses on the life and career of Randy Macho Man Savage. The title chronicles the highs and lows of Randy’s life and career, and shows that while he was extremely driven and highly successful, he was a complex person who also had his struggles over the years. Later in his life, Randy remarried and found peace before his tragic and untimely death. The collectors edition will include the following: • 6 DVDs (New 2014 Randy Savage Story DVD & 2009 Macho Madness DVD) • Randy Macho Man Savage T-Shirt • Randy Macho Man Savage Bandana • Randy Macho Man Savage Sunglasses Here are some of the names that were interviewed for the DVD: Lanny Poffo (brother), Judy Poffo (mother), Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Diamond Dallas Page, Jerry Lawler, Ricky Steamboat, Kevin Nash, Bret Hart, Jimmy Hart, Gene Okerlund, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and Jake Roberts. The DVD is currently listed for pre-order on the Amazon UK site. Read more: wrestlingnews.co/major-names-and-a-release-date-set-for-the-upcoming-wwe-dvd-the-randy-savage-story/#ixzz39IDco3yg

If at least two McMahon's weren't interviewed for this, then we haven't told the story.

Bullet Club reunion, I agree, would be awesome. But......
So would Mount Rushmore (3/4 of them anyway)

I really think the E should have a mandatory 9 months on/3 months off policy. Their schedule is insane.
Either that or at least cut back to: Monday: RAW Tuesday: OFF Wednesday: OFF Thursday: OFF Friday: Smackdown Saturday: House Show Sunday: House Show

Friday is part of house show though as Smackdown is Tuesday. I think Punk said that was his schedule on Nerdist.

I think their schedule now includes Smackdown tapings on Tuesdays and then house shows Fri, Sat, Sun. No?

I thought D-Bry was the one talking about where Wednesday ends up a travel day, you get home, are all tuckered out and then Thursday you end up doing a bunch of chores like laundry and the such and then you head out again Friday morning, I believe.

The point is they do have and Wednesday and Thursday off most of the time.

Maybe Bryan did as well but I'm positive I heard Punk on one of the podcasts her was on talk about his schedule. He did say Wednesday wasn't really an off day due to the travel.

Either that or at least cut back to: Monday: RAW Tuesday: OFF Wednesday: OFF Thursday: OFF Friday: Smackdown Saturday: House Show Sunday: House Show This wouldn't work. I agree in principle. But Stone Cold isn't going to take a mandatory three month break. Eh Eh. Whereas it would be great to keep certain guys fresh. I definitely think breaks are good. ESPECIALLY with all of the TV. There are all of the obvious physical and mental health benefits. What would make more sense is full or partial agreed upon hiatuses. Even still, the talent is going to feel they're losing whatever spot they have at the time. Imagine telling an NFL player "it's time for you to take your mandatory three month break, and don't worry about the other thirty guys we have at NXT to fill your role!?!"

So Paul Heyman was just on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. I missed the first maybe half hour, but heard the last 90 minutes of it. Incredible. I could listen to Heyman speak for days, weeks, you get it. I'm sure you'll be able to download it, or they'll post it on YouTube or somewhere, but highly suggest listening.
-He talked about TNA & how he isn't surprised they got cancelled, branding being one of their biggest problems. -Asked about Taker/Brock's face off at the UFC & if it was planned or not. Heyman said it was like Tony Soprano at the finale of the show, did he or didn't he die, some things are better left up to the imagination, but he knows though. -Mentioned there were talks of the Taker/Brock storyline for Mania involving early WCW days footage of Heyman & Taker and a story on how Paul played a part in Taker getting to WWE so Paul could've said "You Owe Me!" but they went another direction. He said they could've used the WWE Network to build off the footage they'd use. I would've love that. -Does he think Punk will be back in 2014? No. Does he think he'll be back in 2015? Not likely. But he said never say never. And also never say "never say never". Both sides dont want to be the one to pick up the phone, but time could change that. If they could both come up with a way to make money, then maybe. -Talked about Strikeforce, UFC, his DVD, his family & a ton of other things.
Also buy the Blu Ray of his documentary, he says there's a extra where Stephanie reads a private text that Paul sent her from a while back & she starts crying, didn't sound like it was a malicious text, but a heart felt one. Heyman said he hasn't watched the actual documentary, but did watch the extras. Being the business man he is, he said we should buy BOTH the DVD & Blu Ray. I'm only buying the blu ray.
Anyway, check it out whenever it gets posted.

Already pre-ordered the Blu-Ray.
There were rumours today that Heyman wasn't going to be at Raw tonight due to appearing on Ariel's show.
I hope that's not true as neither Cena nor Lesnar will be there either.

Hulk Hogan on WWE Raw Next Week
To update the earlier story of Hulk Hogan appearing on Raw next week, it has been confirmed that they will be celebrating the WWE Hall of Famer’s birthday.
Hulk Hogan will be celebrating his 61st birthday next Monday and WWE has already mentioned that there will be special surprise guests. There is already speculation of WWE reuniting NWO next week, as Scott Hall tweeted the following.

Maybe now is not the best time to have Hall show up after he refused to sign that card for the little boy with cancer.

Awesome, everyone needs to check that out. It was great.
Paul Heyman blu ray has OFFICIALLY been purchased! After failed attempts at 2 other places, third place was a charm. Documentary is 2 hours.
About to hit play. Let's do this Paul E!

Totally forgot to stop and pick it up today. I love that Court Bauer thinks on his podcast that the E is killing their DVD releases with just putting that stuff on the network. Yes Court if you want to watch the CM Punk DVD you could have ran out and bought it and spent $20 or you could wait two years for them to put it on the network. I guarantee you that the Heyman DVD wont go on the network until the Network until late 2015.

Only 30 minutes in & they're just getting into his NWA/WCW days. Been great so far, but I'm glad I bought the blu ray. Hopefully the extras give more stories about his early days. The ones in the documentary were great thus far.
Dangerous Alliance time! He just said it was a Four Horseman for the 90s. Rude, Zbyszko, Eaton, Arn, with Madusa as the Babydoll role & Heyman as JJ and he wanted someone to be the future of the group & he wanted Austin. There's a hush clause in the lawsuit he filed against WCW on why he got fired, which is a bummer he couldn't go in depth. But it was they hated me, I hated them.
Damn this is good so far.

On the LAW, he was saying that the reason WWE doesn't make the Heyman DVD a Network exclusive is because it would hurt the DVD business. He was kind of saying it's a trade-off.
And I agree.

"Vince always felt "It was better to have Paul Heyman in the castle pissing out, than out of the castle pissing in." So he kept me in the castle, to piss all I wanted."
That was my favorite line. I know it's because I just watched it today & that plays into it, but this could be one of the best documentaries WWE has put out.
I'll stop spoiling stuff for those who haven't seen it. I can't recommend buying this enough.

He did say it would hurt the DVD sales but he also said that why would anyone buy any of the DVD's that are coming out now when all you have to do is wait a few years and it will be out on the network. It's like arguing movies being released at the theater/dvd releases.

Read the Smackdown spoilers. Pretty weak stipulation for Rollins/Ambrose announced. But it does allow someone to turn heel in the match if they choose to do so (ie Sheamus) & also allows the Rollins/Ambrose feud to continue, which is always good.

If you listen to the Jericho podcast with Heyman and Edge it almost seems foolish to buy this DVD. The first part of it at least was all stuff that I'd heard before. I have yet to move onto the second disc. I was much more blown away by Punk's dvd than this one.
