Wow. Looks like Michael Elgin is screwed. The early reports are he covered up a sexual assault at his school and tried to have sex with the girl when she told him about it. She's posting DM's now. He's already had one indy date pulled and I'm seeing a bunch of AAW fans asking for him to be pulled. At least Tennessee already has a new coach.

Saw comments on twitter from Russo and Shelly Martinez earlier about a female talent supposedly telling Russo she was raped on an overseas tour back in the day. Shelly talked about how she was almost raped. Sick fucks. |

While I agree, I feel like this is similar to the Harvey Weinstein stuff. Horrible. But Michael Elgin would probably look like a sensitive male in the wrestling circles of the 70's. We follow a business with a history of really bad people.

Cody, The Bucks, Hangman Page, The Villain, Stephen Amell have all tweeted this.
All In will be their self financed show & it's rumored to be in Chicago possibly. Really hope they do a great number for attendance, dudes have busted their asses & deserve the success they've had as The Elite.

I know this post was a few months ago, but figured I'd mentioned what happened this weekend at AAW.
I guess Naito wrestled Michael Elgin for Pro Wrestling Revolver (Sami Callihan's promotion) this weekend, then Naito wrestled at AAW the following night and Elgin was on the card & the crowd wasn't having any of it. It wasn't heel heat either, it was fuck off heat.
Booed him mercilessly the whole match and "Fuck Big Mike" chants. His match went 4 minutes and he lost. Co-owner Danny Daniels had to go on Twitter and apologize for bringing him in, saying it was his own fault & that Elgin won't wrestle on AAW shows again, something they apparently have said before, so they lied. Many are thinking Elgin was on the show because he was the one that got Naito booked in the first place, so they put him on the card too.

Haha I think only I will appreciate that Woodridge. I forgot what he changed his name to, but he's not Mega Phoenix anymore. Although whenever I see him around I always say hi Phoenix.
I'll probably see him tomorrow actually, haha.

The opening few minutes of this weeks Being the Elite made me laugh so much, but if I typed all of what happened out, I'd be ridiculed.
Joey Ryan & Hangman Page finally had their showdown.
Also the Flip/Brandi saga continues and Cody planted seeds for Nick to go single. And Bury the Bear was unveiled.

I’m sure they pull it off but I’m interested to see how much they think they are worth during Labor Day weekend. |

I hope they sell it out. No one busts their asses more than these guys.
I really do think they'll have some surprises. They're already having Kota/Omega vs The Bucks on another show, so they need something even bigger. Whether it be Punk or even Daniel Bryan. Maybe Jericho?
Also they're going to have a podcast festival for wrestling that weekend too. So that'll draw too.

I don't think they'll get to 10k. I really hope they do. Punk is the only way I see it happening. It was ten years ago and it was TNA, but Bound for Glory drew 5k. If they sell 8k-9k and have to paper the rest, it would still be a success if the tickets are priced right. Punk being on this show would make so much sense. This is the type of thing he's been talking about for years.

If he can mend fences with Cabana, I would love The Bucks vs Second City Saints.
Hell you can have AJ Lee wrestle too.
I agree though, they need to have the tickets priced right. $100+ for every seat would be dumb. They'd sell a bunch sure, but you're limiting your audience by having tickets be so expensive. They have to realize they're going to sell so much friggin money in merch too.
