For his cup to one day grace the great city of Milwaukee and the great state of Wisconsin the Unit must get on board with Bringing the Milwaukee Yeti to fruition.
Speaking of the quest for the cup........Nice start last night with 3 close games. I'm sure it will be completely ignored.....but it shouldn't.
The Brewers beat the evil Cardinals finally and took some abuse in the form of a high heater to the shoulder of Khris.

Are the Bucks games on WSSP? Do they sponsor them or something? Everyone on air seems like they have some kind of hard on agenda towards them. Wickett is freaking out when anyone brings up the potential for them still moving until they see the poison pill written in law and what it exactly states.

Sounds like the Unit will be discussing the details of the new arena and how it is imperative to have it or they can move the team.
When they put this up for a referendum does it go to the state county or only the city from which the taxes are taken? I've never lived anywhere with a stadium vote.

These guys are all in bed with the NBA or something. Why do they hate the thought of the NHL. I guarantee you if you took it to a vote across the entire state the NHL would win in regards to which sport they would rather have in Milwaukee.

WSSP is pretty firmly in bed with the Bucks. As Hawgaroo said earlier, they carry the Bucks games when there's a conflict on WTMJ.
They're also the only station that does a Bucks post game call in show. Even the flagship doesn't do that.
Even Bucks announcer Ted Davis is on The Wendy's Big Show, which you obviously know.
WSSP is also the Admirals flagship station. I doubt the Admirals would love the talk of a NHL team coming to Milwaukee.

The admirals could be the NHL team's affiliate...especially if Nashville were to be the one to move. Hawks fans flock to shithole rockford to see the minor hawks.

Oh for the love. These guys having money is not going to affect free agents coming to the bucks. The lack of apartment 720's and patrons for it are what is keeping guys from the bucks and will forever. Now if the NHL were here they would have to build 10 new arbee's to accomodate the players and fans.

I will not address this further. Aaron Sims, The Unit, Jay Zawaski and Cam Tucker all say there's no Wirtz/Backhawks/no compete dealio with Milwaukee.
Nobody can link to even 1 article of said myth.
The NHL is not expanding, and even if it did, Milwaukee is nowhere near the top of the list.
I will say though that Milwaukee has a better chance of landing an NHL team than Radio Joe has of ever playing a high T song.
