So I just finished the match, fantastic storytelling throughout. Really liked the ending.
While Okada & Omega could be the best wrestlers in the world, I'd say Minoru Suzuki is by far my favorite wrestler.

Nothing else really noteworthy on the show.
Elite vs. R3K/Switchblade was okay but that's about it.
Jay White vs. Omega tomorrow for the US Title. White almost has to win. Which I don't want to see

Bullet Club implosion.
What a moment!

Didn't mind Jay winning the US Title. It's honestly below Kenny.
Post match angle (breakup of The Elite) and reunion of Ibushi and Omgea was fantastic.
Really was a New Beginning.

Really liked how it was done. Seemed like Cody & Hangman are against him, with Marty & The Bucks undecided.
They'd be smart to keep this going for a while to make as much money as they can off them together as The Elite.
Plus with the All In show, maybe they do Kenny vs Cody there?

Rey Mysterio vs. Jushin Liger at Long Beach.

Okada retained but Sanada looked like a star and the match was very good.

The card for the Anniversary show on March 6 has been announced.
IWGP Title Kazuchika Okada vs Will Ospreay
IC Title Minoru Suzuki vs Togi Makabe
Tetsuya Naito vs Taichi
YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto vs EVIL & SANADA
IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Titles RPG3K vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Desperado vs Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI
Match 7 in the Kitamura Trial Series Katsuya Kitamura vs Manabu Nakanishi
That's a pretty solid card. Okada/Ospreay should be a wild clash of styles. Suzuki/Makabe will be wild for different reasons.

Sanada paired with EVIL is more entertaining than Sanada as a single to me right now.
The match with Okada at New Beginning is great, definitely agree with Peeps, check it out. However I think obviously a lot of it has to do with Okada being the opponent.
He's just missing something, but I think he'll get there eventually as a singles. For now though, I like him as a team with EVIL.

SANADA's lack of English speaking hurts him with us I think.

Honor Rising Night 1 was this morning.
Nice setup in the main event to get us to tomorrow morning's show with Omega/Ibushi vs. Marty/Cody

Night 2 of Honor Rising saw the continued build of Hangman Page as he pinned Jay White in a 6 man tag match. Then he used a chair after the match to lay him out again.
Nothing else really stood out until the main event. Golden Lovers beat Cody and Marty, then after the match Kenny declared them the best tag team in the world. This brought out the Bucks, who took exception and declared they're now in the Heavyweight Tag division. So expect to see that match sometime this year.

If he improves in the ring, goddamn pal.

Ospreay vs Okada was friggin great. On one hand seeing Ospreay at heavyweight would be cool, but he'd need to bulk up a bit, which I don't know if that'd impact his high flying.
Naito vs Taichi was so much better than I thought.
Suzuki vs Makabe was a damn battle. Best Makabe match in quite a while.
Those were the only 3 I checked out. But recommend those.

Those were definitely solid.
Ospreay will work at Heavyweight I think. Might have to give it a few years though.
Also Jericho says he's done with New Japan, but he might just be working. At least I hope so.

Yeah but for Jericho to do that stuff with Naito at New Years Dash and then have zero follow up seems dumb. And New Japan wouldn't do that.
I think we're getting it still.

Suzuki is nearly 50 years old. Picture perfect dropkick.
I wrote my picks out for the NJPW Cup, then looked at yours & literally had 1 different pick, which was Fale over Archer, that's it. For the entire thing, haha.
Because it's new, I'll instead switch up some picks & go underdog and say Juice. Ishii could be a dark horse too.
