I didn't get the whole Suzuki thing when he first came back. Love watching his matches now. There's either something legit wrong with him or he's good enough to make me believe there's something wrong with him.

I've seen some of his normal social media posts and he's a hipster. It's fascinating.

He's one of my favorite follows on Instagram. He posts something on his story about clothing or fashion, then randomly posts a pic or clip of him murdering a dude in the ring.
His matches are so entertaining & his entrance especially gets me pumped every time. And it's not even a flashy entrance! Yet I find myself saying Kaze Ni Nare!! whenever he steps in the ring, haha

Sexy Chucky T was on commentary for the first night of the New Japan Cup and it was hilarious as expected.
Nothing really happened of note.
Elgin beat Ishii in a pretty good match and Juice beat Yujiro in a typical Yujiro match.

Chuckie T on commentary was fantastic. Also liked the Yujiro/Juice match more than I thought I would.
Elgin almost murdered the toughest dude in the entire company (almost twice). Elgin has become pretty damn sloppy in the ring & that needs to change. Really hope Ishii isn't badly hurt from this.

No English commentary today, which seems dumb considering Kelly is over there for basically the whole month.
I think it's back tomorrow. Hopefully with Chuck T again. Callis comes back for the final on March 21st.

I guess no English commentary until the 15th. Sucks.
Naito vs. ZSJ was tremendous and Ibushi won against YOSHI-HASHI.

Sad that Chuckie T lost to SANADA but not surprised. He had a good showing, which makes me happy.
Elgin vs Juice Fale vs Tanahashi Sabre vs Ibushi Yano vs SANADA
Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for Yano and I wanted Davey vs SANADA for some reason.

Juice got a rollup win on Elgin and Tanahashi beat Fale by countout. Not really fans of the finishes, but I get it. Juice is an underdog & Tanahashi I don't know has ever pinned Fale.
So it's Juice vs Tanahashi in the semis. As much as I love Tanahashi/Okada, I'd like Juice to get a shot.

ZSJ and SANADA got the win and will meet in the other semifinal. Need to watch these 2 matches still, but Sabre has been on a roll in this thing. Naito & Ibushi? That's impressive.
If Sabre wins this, he has to challenge Okada right? That match would be nuts. I assume he wouldn't challenge Suzuki, since they're in a stable together.
But could he? I don't want him to break off from Suzuki-gun

Tanahashi gets to the Finals.
He's gonna win and challenge Suzuki for the IC belt.

Dammit Juice!
It'd make sense for Tana to challenge Suzuki again, I just wish he took more time off from their last match to heal his injuries & not just film a movie.
Hope it's Tanahashi vs Sabre.

Sabre submitted SANADA to advance to the finals.
It's really a toss up now. Tanahashi could win and challenge either Okada or Suzuki, but then Sabre could challenge Okada.
Whoever wins, we're getting a great match as a result. Should be awesome.

He can do whatever he wants (be it challenge Suzuki or Okada). ZSJ would be made in Japan by this. Okada-ZSJ would be a very cool match.

I agree, Sabre would get so much more out of this.
Tanahashi & Okada have are the Orton/Cena of New Japan in that they've wrestled each other 1,000 times, still great matches mind you, but it's been done so much. Tanahashi could win this & challenge Suzuki for revenge for dropping the IC title to him though earlier this year.
Which, if Tanahashi was going to win this & challenge Suzuki again, I wish they had Tanahashi get his surgery he so desperately needs & have him off for months to build for the return. Having a rematch now would be too soon.
Sabre is clearly the way to go. Opens yourself up for a new star in the heavyweight division, even if he loses to Okada. Because beating Naito, Ibushi, SANADA & Tanahashi would be bragging rights in itself.

Maybe ZSJ wins and have all of Suzuki-gun attack Tana again and have him get the surgery and be back for WK.

I really like that. They have enough stars for Tanahashi to take time off. Despite being injured he's still great, but a healthy Tanahashi would be even better.
Suzuki vs Tanahashi at WK would be great.

Strong Style Evolved show is this weekend and only 3 matches have been announced.
Ibushi & Omega vs Young Bucks
Mysterio vs Liger (which I'm not sure how much Rey can do injured)
Adam Page vs Jay White
What/Who the heck else is going to be on this??

Probably a Naito match.
Hopefully Suzuki too.
A few multi-man tags.

Sucks that New Japan World English commentary isn't available live tomorrow in the US. Stuck with JR.
Really hope he's better than last year.

I don't know who this cat is but he's from Chicago, I think he writes for Wrestlezone and he tweets about New Japan A LOT. Just thought I'd let you all know if you want to follow the fella.
