I don't have a problem with trades but think there needs to be a trade deadline.
I do have a problem with certain people who will remain nameless offering up 10,000 trade offers though.

I think trades are what makes Fantasy Football much more competency-based than luck-based. Some guys will draft well and then their team will be shit in three weeks because of injuries. Without trades, they will lose interest because they know they have no chance at winning. Putting in a trade cap basically turns the contest to mostly luck because you can't predict how injuries will affect you. Having no trade limits until a deadline retains interest among everybody because they will have a chance to improve their team no matter how injuries have affected them.
I know some guys don't have much interest in trading, so I won't make them any offers this year. And yes, some guys make ridiculous offers that are grossly one-sided, hoping that somebody else will be stupid. That is a nuisance to be sure, but I think dealing with that nuisance is better than having a league mostly decided by luck.
