The combo of healthy and unhealthy right now is incredible. I'm still getting bets paid off, etc. Two big ones are still coming, food and alcohol wise. But I got back on the ACV and have actively changed other things. I referenced the juice in the Drinky thread. I've still lost 3.5 in about eight days. Most is crap weight, but still......

9 days without alcohol so far. Sobriety is boring.

I'm going to try something for a month just to see what happens. I am going to do 100 pushups and 100 ab exercise reps (not doing 100 boring ass sit ups....). Every day I will add 25 more until the month is over. I think once I get to 2 weeks I may put a cap on the push ups and start adding 5 pull ups per day. I think if I actually got into the 6,700's of pushups I may start to break down muscle tissue at far too fast a rate (like the Oregon football team of this year and the Iowa team of a few years ago).
I need my Ellsworth body for Mania.

I got back into it a few weeks ago after about a 5 month hiatus. Buddys got me changed up doing a Push, Pull, Leg routine to work larger muscle groups.
Judging by my soreness, very effective.
I do 40min cardio before lifts.
I just gotta get back under 200 from my current 240

I have been taking my kids to karate for a year now - 3 sometimes 4 times a week. They love it and the older one is excelling at it. Recently a few new kids joined with their dads, so my oldest asked if I would join too since other dads were there now. I said sure why not, I am here 3 nights a week anyway. Tonight was my second class - holy crap I am going to be feeling it tomorrow. Kicking for an hour when you haven't kicked anything in 15 years is taxing. Was good cardio and I feel good. Plus my kids got to make fun of me so that was fun too.

Lost 8 pounds since Jan 23.
I've cut bread out almost completely. Pretty easy. I do love toast wth eggs though so I have it maybe once a month as a treat.
I'm running 30 minutes for 4 times a week during my lunch hour. Ends up being a 3.5 mile run.
After workout I eat a salad from protein bar. It's about 400 calories, decent protein, has kept me full. I'm making sure to drink water in the afternoon to keep my full. I do feel the urge to eat immediately around 5:30.
One cheat meal a week.

So I was up to 235 around February but am down to 228-ish. I've slowly been running 2-3 times a week.
This past Saturday I had a wedding in Milwaukee and drank way too much. On Sunday I had to fly to Toronto for a couple days for work. On Monday I had time to kill and the weather was nice. Wanting to remove all the garbage and toxicity in my body from Milwaukee so I just began running.
I had no plan except to run along the lakefront path Toronto had on Lake Ontario. Before I knew it I was 7 miles from where I was staying. So I turned around and ran back. 14.4 total miles completed. I had never run a half-marathon before. It took 2.5 hours (~10 min/mile pace) but I felt so much cleaner. It's interesting what you can do if you're determined.

That's awesome. It was about a year ago I discovered cardio I didn't think was possible. At least from me. Nothing close to your running example. But I just started using little number triggers to keep going. "Now I'll go another ten minutes." "Now I'll get to x miles." Feels great.

I just started running so I could observe the skyline and lake shore. Toronto's lake shore is similar to ours where there's a path you could probably run a marathon if you wanted. A lot of parks to people or dog watch. I ran at a leisurely pace and had so many things to keep my mind off running. I find running outside to be much easier. There are landscapes and such to keep your mind engage and away from focusing on exhaustion/soreness.

I'm going to be honest. I don't get it. The color of your urine. Non-hydrated teammates are apparently selfish. Although, it is a decent tracker of overall health.

I've re-started running regularly with the warmer weather finally here. Running lets me be time efficient with exercising since I still have one more rotten CPA exam approaching.
My 4.5 mile runs are now back under 9 min/mile. Need to get back to the 8 min level I used to be able to hit.
However, I want to brag primarily about my mom. She signed up for a gym membership and group fitness class this weekend to get healthier and lose weight for my wedding in September. If a 59 year old woman has the desire to walk into a gym for the 1st time since high school then anyone can.

I know we made some jokes about the KS suggestion of Apple Cider Vinegar last year. But I cannot recommend it enough. I quit taking it regularly when work, stress, and time became an issue. When I probably needed it most. If nothing else, it's an amazing appetite suppressant. I'm slowly getting back to it and ramping up all the way on Tuesday. When I was peaking out around this time last year, all I wanted to do was workout. No hunger cravings, no drinking, etc. I highly encourage everyone to grab a bottle and give it a shot. No pun intended. Thanks KS.
