I would do it in shot form. One of the negatives I saw was tooth enamel decay because of acidity. So I down a shot when I wake up, one around noon, and one at 5 PM.

So I've always been interested in it, but this year decided to buy some DDP Yoga DVDs. I bought the 4 pack, which was only $56 marked down from 80 for Black Friday.
We'll see how this goes. Actually pretty excited to start doing it.

Great stuff. Stick to it and you'll love the results.
I'm starting a 21-Day cleanse Monday. I know the owner of the gym and wanted to commit for a while. My schedule opened up and it was perfect timing. Fifteen workouts and clean eating over 21 days. Jacked.

DDP Yoga has arrived! Starting Monday morning, shit begins.
There's a detailed schedule it suggests for beginners, intermediate & advanced. So seeing as I've never done yoga a day in my life, I'll start with the beginner schedule & see how it goes.
Let you know Monday morning how this went.
Also I bought a yoga mat today & felt like a fucking asshole doing it, haha. But it has to be done dammit!

First week of workouts are done. I got my ass kicked. Especially the quads. But I feel awesome. Nice two day break from the workouts until Monday. It's much needed, but I'm already seeing a huge boost in natural energy. Shockingly, eating clean and not drinking is really good for you.

I ran every morning before work this pst week. Lifted on Tuesday and Thursday night. Will do so again today. I wish I could just keep this up. I hate falling off. Back at it tomorrow morning.
Great job DropIn.
Good luck this week randomone.

Just finished doing the Stand Up workout. The Diamond Dozen workout it suggests to do is pretty much a beginners guide to positions not an actual workout. I wanted to do a workout though, so I went with Stand Up. 30 minutes, focuses on balance. Sweat a bunch and legs feel like jello.
Almost ate shit multiple times trying to balance, but figure it'll only improve over time.
I'll try a different workout tomorrow.

I'd also pickup some glutamine for recovery. You might not think you'll be sore from yoga. You will be, especially if you haven't worked out for a while. If you need suggestions, let me know. Keep it up!

I have some right knee soreness and left shoulder soreness, but feeling great. Although I'm starting to get the guilt trip calls of not being able to grab drinks. But I knew that would happen and I'm rolling with it. Down nine pounds and I'm definitely seeing the difference from doing interval strength and cardio as opposed to mostly cardio I was doing last year. Kettlebells, medicine balls, ropes, etc. weren't really a thing the last time I was actually in good shape. So this is all new to me. By the way, I was sporting my DIY shirt today. Because nobody will do it for you.............. Haha

Here's my usual morning breakfast the last couple years. Start with the egg whites. Measure 3/4 cup and microwave in your breakfast bowl for about 2 1/2 minutes. Put three patties of turkey sausage on a plate for 2 1/2, flipping in the middle of cooking. While the sausage is cooking, cut the eggs up into mini-squares and top with cayenne and cumin. Cut up the sausage into little pieces and toss on top of the eggs. Drink about 16-32 ounces of ice water while consuming. You'll be full for hours. Cal - 299 Protein - 43 Carb - 11 Fiber - 4 Sugar - 0 Fat - 10 Potassium - 629 Iron - 32 It will take about seven minutes from fridge to consumption. Yes, it's processed food. But it's not bad in a short amount of time. Eggs are about $4.50-$5.00 per container and makes about five of these breakfasts. $3.50-$4.00 for the sausage which makes 2 1/2 of these breakfasts. The spices are about $3-$4 a container and lasts for months. So you're looking at $2.50-$3.00 each day. Not bad.

Going pretty good. I've been doing some just to get an idea of what the hell to expect. Boy you really don't think you're going to sweat that much when you start, but you do. Plus I have no shame to admit, having never done this before, I damn near face planted a few times. The ones I've tried so far are..
Beginner Beginner Diamond Dozen Energy Fat Burner Wake Up Stand Up
Ones I haven't tried yet.. Below The Belt Diamond Cutter Red Hot Core Red Hot Core+ Strength Builder Double Black Diamond
Like I told Drop In, I picked a bad time right at X-Mas with the holiday food & a lot more alcohol than I usually drink, haha. I'll get on a set schedule come the new year. But at least I know what to expect in terms of some of these workouts go.
DDP is a good teacher. I won't have a problem listening to the same thing over & over. He's pretty entertaining.

How much did this cost? Did you buy actual dvd’s or can this be downloaded. I’ve done hot core yoga and it definitely kicks your ass. No shame in it. Means you’re doing it right.

I bought the dvds during Black Friday. The 4 DVDs, program guide, poster was a total of $63 including shipping. They have a sale now for the new year that's a little more expensive than the Black Friday sale, but it's still good.
They have an app, which you can buy & get the workouts that way I think. Honestly haven't looked much into that though.

The Spiegel and Parkins Show brought this to my attention. How much water do you guys drink per day? Probably 8-10 glasses per day. It's the only thing I drink. Other than alcohol.

I stepped on the scale at 166 pounds on Saturday. Been targeting below 170. I used to be close to 200 and got down to 160. I was 165ish in high school, so it’s a good weight as a mid forties dude.

NICE! 175-180 would be a good fighting weight for me now. I've got about 25 to go and then start a maintenance program.

Maintenance is the tough part. It is easy to get complacent...
Best of luck. I want to hear it when you hit 175!

It's time to get back into this. Since I can't find my DDP Yoda DVDs I looked online and he has this whole online gimmick now - looks really good. Anyone sign up for it yet? I mean $75 for a year seems like a no brainer.
