I know.
My fault for trying to make sense.

That's how you leave your crowd dead.

I can't begin to describe how much I hated that ending. Reigns already got one over on Rusev, he embarrassed him, he got his title match at the PPV. Must we need Reigns to lay out Rusev to end the show?
That was a "fuck it" ending to Raw.

Apparently Ambrose podcast with Austin was a thing.

Austin really harping on Ambrose's childhood. Super uncomfortable.

Austin is a really good interviewer. It is really odd how these two have zero chemistry in the interview. Dean seems to be having none of what Austin is serving. Austin keeps pushing based on the info he got. Odd interview.
That ending to RAW was really bizarre. Did not have any feeling of a main event type ending.

Austin is looking at him like "Are you for fucking real? Who the hell are you?" Austin is getting pissed. Dean is kind of an odd dude. He's actually more coherent as a wrestler.
I will say this. This interview is not doing Dean any good with Vince right now. He's watching and thinking to himself, "this is my world champion and he's a fucking mess in this interview." This is going to give Vince pause in regards to any long title run for Dean now or anytime soon. If this is how Dean is in interviews in mainstream, he's not going stay with him long.

Yeah it's weird as hell.
Austin is getting pissed for real.
Is Ambrose drunk?

This is the weirdest and most uncomfortable interview I've ever watched. Austin reminds me of a parent or teacher asking this kid "does anything mean anything to you? Do you care at all?!"

About halfway thru. I could've watched Enzo/Cass, Jericho/Owens for the full 3 hours.
Also enjoying the Cesaro/Sheamus brutality.

After watching the podcast, it was much ado about nothing.
Other than the Lesnar comment and Austin "challenging" him, it was just an uncomfortable talk.

I've just started this. I'm 5 minutes into it and it seems already like Austin is agitated. From hearing him in interviews (Colt Cabana's podcast a few years back), Ambrose is always very monotone. Austin seemed to want to dig deep immediately with the backstory of his family & seemed almost bummed there wasn't a bigger story behind Ambrose growing up in public housing.
Again, 5 minutes in, we'll see where it goes from here.

30 min in, Austin seems to have realized how Ambrose is & how he won't delve deep into super personal stuff, so it's loosened up more that they've talked about how Ambrose got into the business with HWA. Zero talk of CZW at all, which kind of bums me out.
They briefly touched upon his feud with Regal in FCW. If you haven't seen any of the Moxley/Regal stuff, I highly suggest it, it's ridiculously great.

"Brock's Gonna Brock, he's all about Brock" that's a new T-Shirt if I've ever heard one.
Nice to see even Ambrose knew his match at Mania was tremendously underwhelming. That definitely wasn't a WM caliber match.

You could tell Ambrose was caught off guard by Austin challenging him to raise the bar at the end. I know he's doing what management tells him, but we've said on this board a bunch before, with the character Ambrose has, you expect him to be more like that 97 Austin where he's a loose cannon, no one can stop him, he'll pop up anywhere & beat your ass just for the sake of beating your ass. Ambrose is missing that.
Overall fine podcast, not the best, but not the worst either. It was less jokey because Austin/Ambrose didn't have that kind of chemistry like Austin/Edge/Christian or Austin/Mick had.

Raw rating sucked. I thought it was a largely forgettable show but I did enjoy the Jericho/KO, Cass/Enzo stuff (Enjoyed it A LOT!!) also thought Cesaro/Sheamus was pretty good and I also liked the closing segment for the most part.

It was less jokey but name another time Austin had an interview like this. He's interviewed plenty of people who hasn't known well in the last - most recently Styles. I walked away thinking Ambrose is kind of a dickhead.

The only other person Austin hadn't had a history with was AJ & Paige. I was bored by the Paige one, but with AJ, he got into personal stories & really was able to banter with Austin rather well. With Ambrose, it seemed like he shut down the attempt to get personal early in the podcast & then Austin mainly said fuck it, just went into how he became a wrestling fan/how he got into wrestling.
Ambrose, dating back to his CZW/IWA days, has always had the same tone of voice. It comes off as standoffish/borderline dickhead, but I think the dude is so overly chill, he just doesn't want to talk about the past.
Not what you'd want in a PODCAST GUEST, but Austin tried to get info, but Ambrose wasn't having it. Could've been better, but I thought Paige's was the worst. At least in terms of Network special podcasts.

I am LITERALLY 4:18 into this interview and already have a different view of it. Ambrose has some childhood issues. I think we know about it to an extent. Austin bounces into it like he's 45 minutes in, or they actually know each other. First, he's definitely not going to get anything good. I would have said this interview is going to turn to shit and Ambrose will close off. I love Austin, but this was a horrible path early on.

Good of time as any to post this video of Ambrose competing in the IWA Prince of the Death tournament, when he wrestled...Neil Diamond Cutter in a Taipei Deathmatch and came out to Sweet Caroline.
This is one of my all time favorite Jon Moxley moments.

I had a delay so I'm at 23 minutes. I'm dying to figure out who would be the perfect person to interview Ambrose. He's not being a dick at all, as some have mentioned previously. He's being him. I love Austin, but his style sucked here.
