I played way too much drunk Hearthstone arena last night. Plowed through 750 gold in a couple hours and don't have a lot to show for it  |

Three wisps, two magma ragers and a southsea deckhand...this deck is so OP!!!

Worse. Ragnaros, Ysera, 2x Swipe and went 1-3. And my loses were beatdowns. One I played Ysera, he Faceless Manipulator it and then silenced mine.  |

...that's a rough move with Ysera...have yet to play with that card...I need to start doing more arena runs so I can get a taste for the cards I don't have yet.

Arena is both exciting and frustrating as all hell. The randomness of it makes you use cards differently and often find new combos which is cool.

Yeah I've got a lot of respect for the people who can crush in it...to be able to take whatever the game throws at you and consistently win 8 plus games is impressive as hell.
I'm guessing once I build up my gold count to four digits from grinding Play Mode I'll start doing a daily Arena run...want to make sure I'm somewhat familiar with most of the classes prior to jumping in and facing the choice of 3 classes that I haven't played with since the first week or so...

Evil murlocs... Mmmrrrggglllmmrrrggglll... Hate seeing this archetype when playing - hard to counter unless you get a 1 drop or early removal. Although I've never been housed like that before on turn 3 |

I used to love playing them...now I only do it if I really need a laugh or if a Warlock quest comes up.
I've won by turn 5 before and I'm pretty sure I've done 4 as well but never turn 3...this was a dream draw...started with one each of the Tidecaller and Grimscale...drew the second Tidecaller at the start of 1...drew the second Grimscale at 2...and then I figured out putting the Warleader I just drew down at 3 gave me lethal.
I felt like a huge dick but if you're going to play that deck you can't worry about small things like shame and remorse. |

Nope - that is great victory! We all have decks like that just part of the game when you need to finish dailies. Until they add more cards the same archetypes will always be played at the mid level. Not all of us have 6 or 7 legendaries to throw in every deck. That is more annoying especially when playing casual instead of ranked.

I've already sunk a good chunk of money in the game and I'm trying to earn more cards through in game gold but I think I'm gonna have to drop some more so I can accelerate the process of getting some of those legendaries. |

Ranks reset last night...had a fun time slumming it in the Angry Chicken rank this morning with other people rocking 3 or 4 legendaries in their decks.
