The 1b position must be addressed and the unit is fielding calls and discussing any potential upgrades. I don't think you give up Nelson, Thorny or Coulter. Get me Morneau or Napoli for that and Im good with it. Any more and I say don't do it. I would trade for Dunn and Sean Rodriguez still. Neither will cost anything really and Sean can fill a hole and you hope to catch lightening in a very big bottle with Dunn. The Crew aren't losing 1 run games and he can account for that 1 run or more with a single hack.

They are discussing getting maybe both Big Papi and Lester. I didn't realize how little Papi has for a contract. Its virtually the same as trading for Napoli. I looked at Ryan Howards contract and it is possibly one of the worst contracts in history for the next few years. I actually like this idea but it depends on what it costs.

Enough of this talk about the Cardinals getting Price. They always give up shit sandwiches in their trades. They like to draft low ceiling college guys and and let the sit in the minors and trick teams into thinking they are actually good. Rays are too smart for "the cardinal way".
