Above is Football Outsiders' week 8 picks. They are lauded for use of "advanced" statistics in analyzing teams and summing up teams, their defenses and their offenses in easy to digest numbers.

They are just one example, but there is much more to handicapping football than statistics.

Luckily my only play this weekend was Houston because I would've been taken to the woodshed using theirs. This also highlights never pay for picks!!!!!
