Kirkwood,I have not looked, but I suspect you know where to find them. I also suspect there is an inside joke here I'm missing. KS, Oh brother. Don't get me started with the stories about my old radio business partner. But I might drop em if I've had a few cocktails. The inside joke is that Hawger predicted the Diamondbacks to win the World Series. I'll be looking forward to the North stories. Hopefully kesha is the bartender that day!! |

one little North story that isn't really about him.
My wife and I went to North's 50th birthday bash at Gibsons in about 02 I think. The late Norm Van Lier was there. I was talking to all kinds of people (I remember George Offman was boasting about his tennis skills) ..and my wife wasn't necessarily alongside me all night and I had no reason to keep my eye on her. Unbeknownst to me, Van Lier was working her. I guess kind of hard. She came up to me and said something like "this old drunk basketball player is creeping me out. Can we leave now?"

The line of 24/81.5 now predicts a score of 53-29. Nearly as high as we are likely to see. Strap in. Gonna take awhile to score that many points. Could be a really long night.  |
