We have a new way in the United States to bleed from the eyes. You don't have to exclusively look at the KS fantasy football roster. There's a confirmed case of Ebola in Dallas. Yes, that Ebola.

The media does us no favors in this country. Unless you touch the blood, urine, saliva, feces, or sweat from a person with Ebola, you cannot get Ebola. That's even too kinky for KS.

This year, 40,000 people will die of breast cancer, another 40k of drug overdoses (29k from prescription drugs) and 35k in traffic crashes...and yet media fear mongering focuses on ONE sick person from a disease. Bird flu 2.

The amount of stupid on Twitter around this today was staggering. You could sit next to a person with Ebola on the bus and be fine. They would have to showing symptons and you have to literally absorb one of the things I listed above through your own mucus membranes. Think about how minute that circumstance would be. It is not an airborne disease like the flu or a cold. This country has no need to panic over this because our hospitals and health care workers have things like rubber gloves to protect themselves while treating these cases.

You will probably catch it in the poorest state in the union when you move there. No one there has the money to buy their own personal heroin and meth needles.
