Why in the hell are you having lifer douche Hub on today? No one needs to hear a damn thing that fool has to say. I would rather he have ZZ on again over Hub. Come on Unit.
It would be cool if they would discuss the Royals amazing playoff run and how they are winning.....which is basically the opposite of everything Carlos Gomez is trying to do. What really should burn Brewers fans is that Gomez CAN play that style of ball that the Royals are playing. Smart AB's, aggressive but smart baserunning and solid defense....screw the long ball. The long ball doesn't play in October like it does the rest of the year.

I honestly don't think he can, that is what the other teams he played for tried to do. It did not work out well. I really hope they trade him, seems like a good guy just not sure you can win with him.

Do you want to win or do you want Gomez to lead the team in all stats? His average should be 20 points higher at least He should have 10-15 more stolen bases. He should have 5 -7 less home runs. He should have 5-7 more triples. He should have 20 more doubles. He is getting his stats at the expense of the team winning. If he played to his skill set instead of having this hard on for being a power hitting cleanup guy it would make the entire team better.

Are you listening now? Brad Jones' pro football focus ratings were just revealed and he was DEAD LAST in the NFL. He graded out worse than any other defensive player in the league sunday. I am not wrong in my assessment of him.

Haven't a ton of article been written how the Mets & Twins tried making him a single/doubles/triple hitter and he failed. Brewers told him do whatever you want and now he doesn't suck?
Brewers hit a mini-jackpot with him. I think the issue is the other players.

I mean it's not like Gomez is overpaid. He may not be living up to his full potential and he's a knucklehead but I think it's a GM issue where you can't make him the main star piece of the team. He needs to be in the Aramis Ramirez role of the Crew.
Juicer Braun should be getting all the heat.

The guy doesn't just completely suck himself but he renders Hawk to being his on field babysitter. The defense with him off the field looks tremendously better regardless of line play. |
