The newly announced slate makes Phase 3 Marvel’s most ambitious yet. Phases 1 and 2 consisted of six and five films each, respectively. |

Funny story about Marvel. WHen my kids were young, I encouraged them to invest some of their money in the market, hoping for an education. They got one.
My son took some of his birthday money, etc. when he was about 10...in 2001 or so and bought Marvel for like $1.50 a share. When Disney bought Marvel in 2009, he got cash and Disney stock worth $54/share. The most brilliant investment ever in my family. I study the market daily. I could not possibly match the market intelligence of a 10 year old.
At the same time, my daughter, who was about 14 at the time, used her money to buy stock in Limited because as a young teen girl, she liked Limited Too. Her stock burned money like...well like teen girls burn money. She is now studying for her MBA at Northwestern, hoping to do better. I told her a quality education about finance and investing is wonderful, but thinking like a ten year old might be better.

Marvel is genius. The way they incorporate their cinematic universe with the show Agents of SHIELD is fantastic. They really can do no wrong lately.
Compare that with DC. They have had successful tv shows based on their characters, but instead of using the actors from their shows and weaving it all together they are casting totally different actors and keeping the 2 universes separate. Because God knows you wouldn't want to have viewers of the show go to a movie and spend money.

I watched Guardians of the Galaxy last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's no surprise to me that the raccoon stole the show. Zoe Saldana is insanely hot. That tree kicked some serious ass.

That movie was awesome.
I didn't think they'd be able to translate to the screen but was happy to be wrong.
Age of Ultron was very good but I didn't think as good as the first one.

Age of Ultron is the sequel to The Avengers. The Guardians aren't in this movie.
Infinity War is where everyone will team up to go after Thanos.

Age of Ultron was very good but I didn't think as good as the first one.I think its always going to be hard to be better than the original - but I think Ultron surpassed the first Avengers. It had more humor and more action and more HULK!!! Also I thought did a great job with character development of several characters including Ultron in such a short time frame. I want to go see it again in IMAX now. |

I think that's why for me it didn't measure up.
That first Avengers was special. Ultron could not do anything to match it I think.

That was a great scene of Hulk destroying Loki  But Hulk vs Iron Man in the HulkBuster suit was awesome. Also Hulk's character development was really well done. And I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed Ultron while onscreen. It wasn't just uber robot - he had personality and conflict and I just wasn't expecting that. |

It sure was.
I wasn't originally a fan of Hank Pym not being credited with creating Ultron but it was still well done.
I want to see the Ant Man movie this summer. And I hope it crushes the Fantastic Four reboot.
