reDragon retains. I'm gonna need to see more of them. Didn't hate and didn't really love them either, for that matter. Disappointed the Briscoes went out first.
Long ass main event which was quite good but wasn't necessarily MUST SEE. Ended up running 19:22.
Crazy thing about ROH is that I don't think I saw anybody from last week's show on this week's show. Kind of leaves you wanting more. Like less = more. Perhaps the E should take note.

kesha, have you ever checked out both the Friday and Saturday shows? Just wondering if they're the same thing. I'm only getting a 2014 recap show this week that I recorded. That's kind of a bummer. Or maybe it's cool. I'll check it out later.

Damn good match. Went 7:21 in total with Strong getting the victory. Crowd was pretty evenly split on these two as they were both getting a lot of love. Crowd is also louder than many Raw crowds I've seen lately.

Huge promo segment. Nigel McGuinness confronts Tommaso Ciampa in the ring. Michael Elgin comes out and confronts Ciampa. McGuinness ends up making the main event a 3 way dance between Ciampa, Elgin and Hanson for the ROH #1 contender spot.

Big Time Mike McGivern is out to handle the main event duties at referee.
I like how the announcers give you all kinds of back story on matches and what led up to the present. Really helps a newbie like me and brings continuity to the broadcast. It's like ROH embraces it's past because it basically makes sense as opposed to the E where they need to conveniently forget most of it because it never makes sense.

Match ran 11:56 and ended in a no contest as all hell was breaking loose. Several innovative spots throughout the match. Crowd was way way into it. Very solid main event.
And Alberto Del Patron debuts next week!!!!

Kazarian beat Alexander at 8:05. No cheating. No BS. Just some good clean action packed wrasslin. Damn fine way to start the show. I already know the deal with Kazarian but I need to pay attention to this Cedric Alexander fella. I like what I'm seeing.
The oddly shaped one will be wrestling Alberto El Patron next week. Why they would announce that before actually just surprising the crowd that Alberto El is even in the promotion to begin with.....is beyond me.

Wrestle 3:52 - Donovan Dijak/Jake Dirden (Top Prospect Tourney)
Battle of the bigs. 6'"8 vs. 6'7". Not bad at all. Dijak kinda looks like Matt Morgan and Dirden is kinda a less bulky Luke Harper. The Decade is out to scout the match. (Whoever they are) Apparently they're checking out Dirden. Dijak gets the win with a pretty cool firemen's carry/knee lift to the face deal. Kinda GTS-ish.

CIJ would be none too happy about this. Alberto El Patron is in the ring and the crowd is going apeshit.
He nearly tore the house down with that promo. Easily my favorite line was "I'm not a fucking sports entertainer, I'm a wrestler!"
Alberto called out Jay Briscoe (in a competitive way, not heel way). Instead Jay Lethal came out accompanied by Tiny Tim.
Good back and forth banter.
If you're ever gonna have a 10 minute promo, this is the kinda thing you have it on. Really good segment.

Jay Briscoe and Nigel McGinness had a little promo before the action started. Jay Briscoe said he wants all 3 of: Ciampa, Elgin and Hanson at the Las Vegas PPV. So it looks like we got a 4-way coming up.
Taven is accompanied to the ring by Bennett & Maria. Big Time Mike McGivern is the ref.
Jay Briscoe is a badass.

Jay Briscoe defeated Taven at 8:10. Bennett and Maria attacked Jay afterwards. Mark Briscoe came out for the save. He wants the Briscoes & The Kingdom to open next week's show.
And damn Maria is hot.
Little light on wrestling this week but they had some important promo work that really couldn't be avoided with the arrival of CIJ's guy.
Also next week is AEP vs the peculiarly formed Christopher Daniels.
