Meanwhile in Ring of Honor, Maria has been recruiting Cole Karter and possibly Griff Garrison. The gimmick (I don’t think it’s a gimmick more like actual real life) is she’s a MILF with a business sense.
Anyways, here’s Maria talking about a pearl necklace and the former 2 Dimes not knowing what that means.
I laughed and this storyline is actually solid.

So if I’m understanding this correctly, the former Bear Country are now Iron Savages and their gimmick is they’re husky guys who eat ass and “bust” “savage sauce” onto women?
Like, is it supposed to be funny? The double entendres? Fuck sake most of them aren’t even double. At least the Maria promo I posted previously here had a little comedy.

I don't know if she's officially signed. Maybe this is just a few month thing? She's teaming with Marina, so this is so she can spend time with her pal.
Ronda vs. Athena will at least get some buys.
So long as she sticks on ROH. I really don't think we need Ronda on AEW.

Athena vs Billie Starkz for the women’s title at Final Battle. They’ve done a good job building Billie as the minion in training, finally being fed up with how Athena treated her.
The pic Billie’s mom posted makes you remember she’s still 19. Bullet Club is now vintage, haha

Can't believe it's almost been a year since the Briscoes' final match. I re-watched Final Battle '22 last weekend and nearly got emotional. I miss Jay.

Von Erichs beat the Outrunners in a fun old school match in front of the Texas crowd. Outrunners are so weird, but their gimmick works.
Bryan Keith just beat Jack Cartwheel in a solid match to advance to the Survival of the Fittest match on the main card for the TV Title.
Tony just came out and thanked the crowd and recapped the history of ROH in Dallas/Garland and said one more match on Zero Hour

Garcia wins a hard hitting match. Only one sorta botch when Christian went for a 450, Garcia was supposed to catch the leg into a submission but Christian’s full weight just crushed Garcia’s sternum. Super rough landing. Good match overall though.
Eddie Kingston vs Anthony Henry in a Proving Ground match added to the show. If Henry wins or lasts 10 minutes, he gets a shot at the Continental Classic winner.
Needless to say Eddie is winning that one, this is just a way to get him on the card.
