I'd really like for it to be Bevell but I assume he's already on the fast track to become an NFL head coach and wouldn't need the college gig to get him there.
I sure wish Lance Leipold was still available. Quite a leap but would've loved to have seen it. Almost Bo Ryan-esque.
Paul Chryst doesn't excite me in the least.
All that being said, I went with the Mule.

There is no way Liepold would have been considered for anything other than a coordinator.
I would go for Richt. I think you could lure him away from a place that really seems to not care for him. They would still have stud RB's then in addition to actual quarterbacks.

Barry Alvarez has hired himself to be the head coach in the bowl game. There is your answer. After him, then maybe one on this list. But you have to wonder why two coaches in two years bolted..the first for a lateral and now a downward move to another job. Could it be Barry's shadow of long-time success, and maybe real presence in the program as the coach's boss, caused some angst for Bielema and Anderson? I suppose there are a lot of guys that would want the job and would be willing to put up with working for Barry Jerry Jones Alvarez. And if you think my speculation is off the mark, then you tell me. Why does Anderson leave? And don't tell me to be closer to home. Corvallis, Oregon and Madison, Wisc. are each a plane flight away from Utah.

Good to see Barry made this hire for his new coach.

The guest on the big show made it sound like the QB won't come but he also made it sound like he wouldn't work anyways so its not that big of a deal. He visited Oregon State over the weekend.

So I'm seeing that Tanner McEvoy is going to play both offense AND defense against Auburn in the bowl game. Is he moving to the defensive side permanently in 2015?

YES!! He is a joke of a qb. They have to get him qb reps now as there is no one else to back up.
