I've decided I'm infatuated with the programming and actual numbers of each show. Specifically good ol' fashioned wrasslin' numbers. I'll be giving a recap of wrestling numbers in this thread. I'll be tracking Raw, Smackdown and ROH for starters. Also will track Impact when it gets rolling again. Don't get the El Rey Network so can't track Lucha Underground. Also not ready to incorporate NXT or Main Event yet.
Televised bell to bell wrestling = Only what the viewer sees. If a match goes to commercial, the time spent in commercial is NOT included. So no entrances, no after match shenanigans, just tracking in between the ref calling for the bells.

They showed a few replays throughout the show but it was always right after whatever happened happened. Short, simple and to the point. And got right back to the action. 5 to 10 secons tops each time. Never a distraction. |

WWE has a recent knack of not delivering television main events that end in decisive finishes. Just how bad was it in 2014? Out of 52 episodes in 2014, 18 Raw episodes out of 52 (34.6%) had a decisive finish to a main event; the rest of the shows either ended in a segment, or ended in some sort of non-finish. So yes, only 34.6% of Raw episodes had a legitimate main event finish. At one point around Wrestlemania, there was a stretch with one real finish to a main event over an 11-week span. This site is unreal for numbers and statistics etc... I may be referencing it a lot or never again but I did find the Wrestlers with Highest Win Percentages page to be quite interesting. The first name that jumps to my mind would've been Hulk Hogan due to all the criticism he's received over the years for never putting anyone over. Sadly, all 3 shows were down in total televised wrestling this past week, while Raw was not rated for obvious reasons.
One thing I'll say is that Impact certainly does not want to be behind Smackdown in actual wrestling shown. If TNA isn't showing more wrestling that the equivalent shown by the WWE, then really - what the hell is TNA around for?
As usual, ROH continues to dominate in % of televised wrestling.
