It is quite sickening that mayweather is making at least 180 mil off this. Hopefully he buys a bunch of stupid shit an circulates it back into the economy. The 10 mil he is giving the state of cali to get suge knight bailed out will help that state at least. Judging from his cribs episode he can top that spending no problem.

After reading several stories on Manny just now, I don't believe he's all that much of a homophobe at all. Based on his religion, he does oppose "marriage" between gay couples but doesn't seem to oppose gay people in general.
Whatever the case, it's much better than Floyd.

I hate to be old man lawn guy but boxing is so different nowadays. Manny is kinda old school but Floyd just dances around, does just enough to get by, and also probably pays off the judges.
In my day, guys like Hearns, Hagler, Duran, and Sugar Ray wanted to knock a mfer out! Leonard danced a lot too but would certainly go toe to toe if needed and had surprising power.

Boxing is just so damn barbaric. Not to mention corrupt. It was pretty cool when I was growing up, until you realize the real damage guys were doing to one another. I mean, what old boxer is even kind of normal? Maybe George Foreman? Sorta.
I get a feeling Ali's condition was perhaps the biggest reason so many fans turned on the sport.
