The New Beginning is an annual professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). The event has been held since 2011 as a pay-per-view (PPV). Since 2013,viewers outside of Japan have also been able to view the event as an internet pay-per-view (iPPV). The event is held in February, the month following NJPW's biggest annual event, the January 4 Dome Show, usually the culmination point of major storylines. As the name of the event suggests, it marks the beginning of a new year for the promotion.

Score Jr is in full agreement with me that Nakamura is the greatest thing going in the world of pro wrestling. He's also in agreement that Seth Rollins is the second greatest thing going. I raised him well.

Sendai show was okay. Not as good as Osaka show and both were miles away from being WK9. Main event was good though. Nagata is 46.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the brackets for the 11th annual New Japan Cup!
Traditionally, the winner of the tournament becomes the #1 contender to the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. However, in 2014 winner Shinsuke Nakamura used his victory to challenge for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. For the first time, in 2015 the winner of the New Japan Cup will have the option of challenging for either the IWGP Heavyweight, IWGP Intercontinental, or the NEVER Openweight Championship.
Here are the first round matches, set to take place in Tokyo, Japan on March 5:
Bracket 1
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Toru Yano
Kota Ibushi vs. Doc Gallows
Tetsuya Naito vs. “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson
Kazuchika Okada vs. Bad Luck Fale
Bracket 2
Togi Makabe vs. Tomoaki Honma
Yoshi-Hashi vs. Yujiro Takahashi
Yuji Nagata vs. Hirooki Goto
Satoshi Kojima vs. Katsuyori Shibata

Nagata will win and challenge Nakamura for the IC Belt.
It'll be interesting to see if they go back to Tanahashi-Okada in the Bracket 1 finals or if they try to shake it up. Maybe have Okada continue to struggle against Fale.

So Tanahashi and Okada both lost in the first round.
Nagata is winning this.

Well Nagata isn't winning this.
Ibushi vs. Naito and Makabe vs. Goto are the semifinals.
I don't know what's gonna happen.
