Bill is dying for a 2nd day in a row. They could not have found a better replacement than the franchise. Let us hope he just takes over the show for the rest of eternity. Kays better wake up early from his late night.

What would you like to discuss? I can't hear the radio show so I have no idea what is going on.

New assistant offensive line coach Mike Solari. He had been with the 49ers for the last 3 or 4 years. What is very interesting about him is that he is schooled in both the power run blocking man up scheme and the zone blocking scheme. He has been doing the straight up man blocking in San Fran but previously he was doing the ZBS with Seattle and someone else I believe.
I think this is an attempt to get the line to be able to block in short yardage and goal line situations and not get blown 3 yards back. MM said he was very happy with the goal line blocking this year which is absurd because they were terrible at it. I think they were terrible at it because of technique and scheme. This guy hopefully will be able to blend the ideas come short yardage time. The pack had to have had 50 rushes inside the 5 yard line this season with a net 8 yards. I have never seen a team stonewalled that many times. At the Detroit game they were 0-7 inside the 5 on one penalty aided drive.

This is easily the best two day stretch of the Bill Michaels show that I've heard in a looooong time.

I love this pairing of Tim and Radio Joe. He gets Radio Joe to come out of his shell and he gives him an equal platform.

Nothing...just the typical guy from the north woods saying he won't go to milwaukee and he doesn't want his money supporting a team and a city that are too far away. Tim was being nice but clearly trying to give him enough rope to say something stupid and he ended up just sticking to the distance excuse.

I don't see those 2 getting along at all. I need to know more about this band. Is he in a tuba band or a rock band?

Bobblehead talk!!!
If that museum ends up being real they need to have my guy Mick G...the future voice of the Cubs involved. He is a bobblehead guru. I was at the mall with him and I want to say he got a free Empire Carpet bobblehead or something like that and he was all jacked about who he could paint that thing up and turn it into.

I need a backstory bio on The Franchise.
I figured he had some baseball experience but i think he is just a fan...but I do not know.
He is apparently in a band.
What does he do other than Brewer post game and fill in slots? Is he an FM DJ...I heard he was an FM DJ at some point.

Tim 'The Franchise' Allen One of Southeast Wisconsin’s leading and longtime broadcasters. Tim has been in the radio industry for over 20 years. A veteran of stations like 95 WIIL, 104.7 The Wolf, AM1050 WLIP, and WSSP, Tim also taught radio for 7 years at Gateway Technical College.
An avid sports fan, Tim hosts the Brewers Post Game Show. The love of sports rivals his love of music. Guitar has been a passion of Tim’s since 1983. One of his ‘brother-in-laws’ gave him an old guitar, and told him that it would end up in a closet at some point soon. That challenge, and his love for music, was enough to provide the motivation to learn. “It’s more of a fun factor at this point” claims Tim. “Playing guitar and singing is one of the healthiest addictions you can have.”
When it came time to give up the physical side of actually playing sports, he went into coaching youth sports, despite not having any children at the time. “It was my way of staying involved in team sports. My radio show is also my way of staying involved with a team." Tim’s broadcast partner and long time friend Steve “Sparky” Fifer says that working with Tim is demanding, professional and a lot of fun. “Losing is not an option for him” states Fifer.
Tim is single and the father of a 14-year old son, Ty. He loves keeping up with Ty's busy baseball schedule, but also makes time for his band. The Tim Allen Band plays all over southeastern Wisconsin and features classic rock covers.

Weird....it sounds like they were at the fair and bastille day years ago but they must have broken up or something in 2012. He did say band practice today so maybe they just took a break or he has a new band.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to find anything on this band. Why is he in a secret band? I know. There's like a defunct Facebook page from 2010 and a few other mentions from them playing in Kenosha a few years ago.
