The great news of the Unit being off again is met by the horrible news that Luc has a blown hammy and will miss most of the spring. Combine that with Kevin Holden talking politics with Radio Joe who is desparately trying to change the subject and you have a recipe for more Calvert.
I wonder if they will touch on the sure fire hellstorm that is the chicago little league team being stripped of their title. There are so many angles of bad in that situation. Everyone loses. I hope that coach looks everyone of those kids and their parents in the eye and takes full blame for that. If he blames the system or the coaches of other teams then everything they accomplished is for nothing.
Favre has officially requested for his packer hall of fame ceremony to be held at Lambeau for the fans....which is awesome. I would go. They can still have their stupid stuffy ass corporate sponsor high brow party of 1600 people before or after the party with the fans. Brett wields some serious power here and just about every single packer fan that doesn't resent him knows he is dead on right.

Kevin Holden is a glorious follower of mine so I will give him a pass on everything.
The Favre HOF ceremony should be at Lambeau and should be simulcast with the national HOF ceremony. Like when Vince bought WCW. That would be surreal.

Joe could handle this show on his own. He does need someone to slap him on the wrist when he tries to talk Euro Soccer.

I don't understand talk about drafting Aaron's successor. We are NOWHERE near needing to do that. Probably 4 years away from even thinking about that. I would venture to guess that Aaron has about 8 years left.

Brett talk kicks off the show. Why is Gary hating on Brett? If he does that private ceremony then it happens and he jets off to Mississippi and no one ever sees him. Having it at the stadium during the week of family night would be great. Everyone can go....celebrate him....get closure if they need it and move on.
....and how is it sold out when they just gave away tickets to the corporate people.

You don't want those kids to feel like they are getting screwed for their race. They were GREAT for baseball. They played GREAT baseball on the field and they need to continue that. I have no idea why this thing is getting so complicated. You can't have the HOF Induction there as that would set a precedent for guys wanting to have their induction in their home stadiums and would just create a huge mess. But you can have the retirement ceremony for Brett at Lambeau and pack that place to the gills. Hell, they could probably pack 100k in that place by utilizing the field. And then at whatever point Brett also gets the normal induction at Canton. |

Its him entering the packer hall of fame which technically is a separate entity. Just do it. It is going to sell out, its going to bury the hatchet and he will feel comfortable being around again. He probably feels like an ass and since he has some immaturities to him he doesn't want to show his face until people aren't mad at him.

Ok well the jersey retirement and his entry to the Packers Hall of Fame should all be one big ceremony in front of 100k at Lambeau Field.
His NFL HOF induction should be in Canton like everybody elses is.
