Anheuser-Busch Inbev is working on a deal to buy SABMiller. Bud and Miller owned by the same company? If it passes Justice Dept. antitrust oversight, I say why not? Two shitty beers (albeit still the beasts in the US) deserve each other. The people who drink these beers will likely pay more for all their brands, since there no longer will be real price competition in that market. I'm sure some there are many beer drinkers who are influenced by prices. This won't be a positive move for them. So this will suck for some Miller and Bud drinkers.
The rest of us who drink other beers will just yawn and hope the day comes when craft beers take away even more shelf space from Bud Miller.

Earthquakes and tsunamis. But if you live on the beach in Cali, you know you will get a tsunami warning evacuation every once in a while.....like tonight. Some people who don't live there have this great fear of quakes. Overall, unless your house is destroyed by one, quakes cause far less hassle than do Chicago snowstorms.

The rain is going to hold off just long enough for you to get off work and have to suffer through it on the drive home and at whatever game you go to tonight. I can't believe I was able to squeeze in a lawn mowing.
