The rain is going to hold off just long enough for you to get off work and have to suffer through it on the drive home and at whatever game you go to tonight. I can't believe I was able to squeeze in a lawn mowing.
Gonna mess up Piglet's baseball schedule for tomorrow too.

Yeah our family were Trevino fans too. Back in the day...somewhere between 71 and 73...Trevino played in the PGA tour event in my home town. My brother got picked to caddy for some guy in the Pro-Am that got lucky enough to play with Trevino. My brother was like a freshman in high school at the time, was kind of short and stocky..like Trevino. Back in those days, the golf bags were HUGE. Think of the bag Rodney had in Caddyshack. So here is my brother lugging this 100 pound bag down the first fairway and Trevino goes over to him and says something like "Hey we don't want to get arrested for child abuse here. You gonna be ok kid?" My brother apparently laughed it off with Trevino. (I didn't see it, my dad was following him and told me the story as I was caddying for some pro who blew so badly I had beaten his score on this course several times. But that's another story.) They complete the round and my brother apparently did ok carrying this monster bag around. I don't remember what his guy gave him for a tip, but apparently Trevino gave my brother $50...which was huge in those days and especially getting a tip from a guy you weren't even working for. He said something like "Kid, that was impressive. Good job. Now get back to school so you don't have to carry golf bags for a living."
My brother still tells that story today. His brush with fame. LOL.

Crude oil is near its lowest level in many years, there is global over-supply and gas prices in Chicago are still $3/gallon?
That's not right. I filled up today for $1.98/gallon. If we use about 15 gallons a week that equates to a $780/year difference between Chi and here. I'm sure the Midwest refiners will say refining outage/shortage, higher costs to refine, blah blah blah. Somebody should call bullshit. Anyway you cut it, that sucks.

The retail level is still using the refinery closing in the burbs. Usually, you have a variance of three cents within a ten mile radius. Today, I saw $2.96 and $2.31 about 1/2 mile apart. It's still a work.
Holy shit. I haven't had this type of weather in over a year. Every hatch is closed, Tenay has a treat, Drop In has a drink. Tomorrow's appointment may be pushed back.
The potential tornadoes flew over my area. I was literally, not like Gorilla Monsoon literally, out there two weeks ago. I said "I love the area, but I worry about tornadoes." Truph.
Now we have another run. The Drop In Estate is ready for battle.
