Do Steph vs Ronda. Floyd would actually swing at her. Granted he'd have his arm broken in the process, but still. Man, Ronda is incredible. Glad she destroyed the villain from No Country for Old Men tonight. Just saw her talking about Piper. I loved your idea with bagpipes, but that could have thrown her off. I wouldn't have allowed it. She still would have killed the girl. But.....

Granted its par for the course for Mayweather & fighting women, WWE would never do it.
Plus with Dana's dickhead comments about wrestling yesterday, don't see Ronda doing anything wrestling related until after her MMA career is over.

She is his biggest draw. If she wanted to go do a wrestling match at Mania, nothing would stop her.

Dana always is blunt and likes to talk shit so I think people are over reacting to it. When you have Rousey, the actual champion, being so vocal that she loves wrestling and gives a shout out to Roddy Piper after she went all Kill Rousey Kill mode last night, that over weighs Dana's views IMO. I'm sure if the money was right he'd let her do it.

Yeah he usually back tracks on certain things. He said women would never fight in the UFC & look at where we're at? From a business standpoint though, if I was Dana, I wouldn't want her to wrestle & get hurt. Granted UFC fighters have injuries all the time, but if Ronda were to get hurt (WM31 involvement was a very controlled interaction), it'd be bad for UFC.
You're right though, it all comes down to money.

A lot of investors are asking the question today after BTIG’s Brandon Ross circulated a report noting that the Dutch media tycoon’s investment vehicle, Talpa Beheer, recently bought 6% of World Wrestling Entertainment. John de Mol proved his eye for hit TV when he developed shows including Big Brother, Fear Factor, and The Voice. The report contributed to an 8.8% jump in WWE’s stock price today — and helped it to touch a 52-week high of $22.05. The company’s shares are up 32% over the last five trading days, especially following its better-than-expected Q2 earnings report. “Perhaps de Mol just saw the same risk/reward in WWE shares that we do,” says Ross. But “his expertise and interests lead us to other questions” about a possible alliance. In March, de Mol sold his Netherlands-based production company Talpa Media B.V to UK’s ITV for $530 million. That could rise to $1.17 billion if he stays on board for eight years and Talpa hits its profit growth targets. Adding to the intrigue: John Malone’s Liberty Global just increased its ownership stake in ITV to 9.9% from 6.4%. That has contributed to speculation that Malone might try to buy ITV. WWE seems to be right in de Mol’s wheelhouse. He’s “interested in content that travels globally,” Ross says. “All of the format television he has created has been meant to work on a worldwide basis.” WWE generates more than 20% of its revenue outside the U.S. and its WWE Network online service “is growing faster internationally than in the U.S.” The disclosures come as Wall Street takes a fresh look at WWE. Many have been skeptical about the company’s prospects, fearing that its $9.99 a month streaming service — which offers its most popular events — would cannibalize the company’s lucrative TV and pay per view businesses. But investors were pleasantly surprised last week when WWE reported that it ended Q2 with 1.16 million global subscribers and predicted a rise to “approximately 1.2 million” subs at the end of Q3. That was “meaningfully better than we expected, shuttering some of our previous concerns over near term subscriber momentum,” Benchmark analyst Mike Hickey said. Bears thought WWE Network would see mass defections from the 1.3 million subs it had for the annual WrestleMania event, on March 29. Fans who didn’t have the online service had to pay about $70 to watch it on pay-per-view. deadline.com/2015/08/wwe-dutch-tv-mogul-john-de-mol-1201491417/

- There have been a lot of rumors lately about WWE meeting with executives at Destination America, which currently airs Ring of Honor and TNA programming.
One WWE source noted to us that details weren’t available but it was believed WWE met with Destination America to shop their Superstars and Main Event programs. WWE has apparently been trying to shop those two shows to whichever network will buy them in the United States.
For now, WWE meeting with Destination America should be taken as a rumor but it definitely is making the rounds within the industry. Another source noted to us that they heard WWE floated the idea of airing NXT to Destination America but that’s also not confirmed and we’re not sure how far any talks went. We will keep you updated on any information that become available.

- We reported back in May that Vince McMahon did not make the annual Forbes list of billionaires. However, Forbes’ profile on Vince currently has his net worth at $1.21 billion, as of today August 5th. The profile also notes that Vince did “dropoff” this year’s Billionaire List.

The WWE just made a XXX-sized oops ... by naming a group of their Divas after a hardcore porn series -- which likely directed their fans toward the wrong kind of pile drivers. During "Monday Night Raw," WWE unveiled Submission Sorority -- the new official team name for sexy Divas ... Paige, Becky, and Charlotte. Sure, it's a badass name ... but an Internet search for the team points you to tons of links for a porn series called HazeHer, produced by BangBros. Social media went nuts after 'Raw' -- some people thought it was hilarious, but others were pissed kids could be exposed to porn. BangBros traffic analyst Delilah Mcginnis says their web traffic shot up 56% overnight, and they saw a 35% rise in subscriptions. Not shockingly, we're told the porn co. plans to send Vince McMahon a 'thank you' gift basket -- God only knows what will be in it. So that saves her from being "Future Endeavored" for a while now. I have no idea how she's been around for so long. I don't recall anything memorable from her in the ring and she's really not all that much of a looker in my opinion.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the rumored big push for Lana may be over before it started. The site reports that the people at the top are looking to change direction to Eva Marie. Eva has been working hard in training, and they will continue with the Total Divas angle, where the others mock her for being bad, but she works hard to become a superstar.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with the internal talk of adding emphasis to the Diva’s division, the company is considering a Diva’s Tag Title. The idea would be to play off of the increased popularity of women’s sports in the U.S. and the Ronda Rousey phenomenon.

Looking at ProFightDB, Rosa has won a total of 6 matches (5 handicap/multi Diva tags and 1 DQ win over Layla) on the main roster. It's not like WWE are keeping her because she's the only Latina Diva on the roster, The Bellas are too, so that dumb theory goes out the window. Honestly, Michael Hayes seems like the only logical reason.
As for the Lana stuff, I don't buy it about Eva. I wouldn't be surprised if Vince has fallen out of love with Lana though. The guy they pair her with immediately goes & books a movie, so all she's been able to do is walk down the aisle & smack Summer. The anti-violence against women pretty much forces Rusev to sit there & watch (yes that's awesome, but still). Until Lana is able to actually wrestle or do something different than she's doing, I don't see her getting much farther. That said, she's the best looking woman they have on the roster, she needs to be on TV more, not involved in a silly feud like this one.
Eva Marie has had 1 match on NXT. She's training, that's great, but if they're saying Eva will become top diva, especially after Sasha, Becky & Charlotte have gotten the call up, she'll get shit on even more than before.

Isn't Dolph's movie a WWE movie?
Maybe Lana will go back to Rusev and they can be Russians again.

Yeah Kane is in the same movie, that's why they've been written off TV.
They need to do something with her. As much as I enjoy her walking out being all hot, she needs to do more. Should never have broken them up in the first place. Should've put the IC belt on Rusev after he got crushed (pun intended) by Cena in their feud.

The WWE production trucks recently had the WrestleMania 32 graphics added to them. The pay-per-view airing on the WWE Network is pushed on the graphics and The Rock is said to be the most prominent Superstar featured. Nikki Bella is also prominently shown. This is definitely worth noting considering the back-and-forth talks between Rock and WWE and whether he will indeed compete.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a Total Divas cast member, historic or current, I'd rather not see procreate. The entire time talking about the kid sounds like a girl talking about a doll on Christmas. I hope for the best, but I see Rosa and daughter on a child pageant show soon. - WWE’s website has a new interview with Rosa Mendes, who announces that she’s pregnant with her first child. She is due to give birth in February 2016 and is naming her daughter Jordan Elizabeth Schubenski, because her mom’s middle name is Elizabeth and she’s always liked the name Jordan for a girl. Rosa commented on what this means for her WWE future: “This baby has really motivated me and inspired me. I look at powerful moms like Stephanie McMahon. She’s a mother of three and she does it all, and her kids are bright and intelligent. So, this has truly motivated me. And, I look at my accomplishments — I’m a WWE Diva, I’m an entrepreneur and now I’m going to have the most important job in the world, being a mother and giving this baby an amazing life.” She also offered these comments: “I’d like to thank WWE’s executive offices, the talent relations staff, the medical team and everyone that has supported me throughout this. I’m just really excited about this news. I’m really, really happy and I hope everybody’s just as happy as I am. I can’t wait to just keep everyone updated, post pictures and have everyone follow me on this little journey that I have for the next nine months.” Read more: www.pwmania.com/rosa-mendes-announces-her-first-pregnancy-comments-on-her-wwe-future#ixzz3i4QTal6S

The WWE fixed its colossal XXX mistake ... by dropping its Divas team name after it accidentally pointed fans toward tons of Internet porn. According to the WWE, it changed Paige, Charlotte and Becky's Submission Sorority because its TV programming is PG -- and they didn't know the name had porn ties. As we reported ... the search results for Submission Sorority turned up thousands of porn results. During Thursday night’s episode of "SmackDown" the Diva team name was quietly changed to PCB on parts of WWE's website. Charlotte even started hashtagging with it. #ItsOfficial Read more: www.tmz.com/2015/08/07/wwe-submission-sorority-change-name-porn-paige-charlotte-becky/#ixzz3i9sF5v8z

You don't even have a champion to build off a feud with. It's sad when Show is the most entertaining one of the three. Miz I used to love as a heel (2011, seriously I did), but his heel character now is so over the top it's more awful than anything.
Team BAD shirts are now available on WWEShop. Curious to see sales on those. It reminds me of The Corre & how bad of a name that was.
Shocked they didn't switch the porn name of Submission Sorority to Team BangBus or something like that. Not that I know what that is or......oh man.....I've said too much.

It's a four hour show though. They need as much fill as they can get. IC title will probably get 10 minutes unfortunately.
I'd prefer Wee-LC 2 to be perfectly honest.
