Really...this appears like it's going to be a thing...and for that, I am thankful.
Figured I would properly celebrate by bringing Don back.

Boyd !!!! Awesome. We were short posters with bad attitudes. That whole "going Boyd" thing was a lot overblown. That was pretty much the end result of a lot of beer and a terrible CGS Bears post. I'm really not that much of an asshole.

Figured I would properly celebrate by bringing Don back. Lipid, I saw the Eagles last week. Henley, Schmit and Walsh were awesome. Frey was not.

Hockey talk picking up in here! If there's one thing I can promise, it will be that I won't watch one second of an NBA game on purpose this season, but I will watch as much hockey as I can.

Figured I would properly celebrate by bringing Don back. Lipid, I saw the Eagles last week. Henley, Schmit and Walsh were awesome. Frey was not. You didn't happen to be at the Moline show by chance, did you?
I thought the whole structure of the show was pretty cool, although I think it was better served when they strayed from doing a literal timeline of the band and started mixing up the songs a bit.
I'd agree with your assessments for the most part. Walsh is always a treat live, and Schmidt is not only great but so gracious as well. I thought Henley was just a slight notch below his usual self, although that's still pretty good.
I didn't think Frey was bad...but yeah, since "not awesome" was your description, I'm good with that.
I really liked seeing Bernie on stage with them...I hadn't read anything about the tour prior to going so that came as a total shock to me.
Only complaint I had was the 40 something drunk blond who kept yelling "when the fuck are they gonna do Desperado?!?!"...just the worst.

I was at the moline show. Not surprised about the loud drunk. That was quite a diverse crowd. That was my 1st time seeing them so I'm surprised that Henley was not his usual. I was surprised how good his pipes were. I didn't realize Bernie had not been on tour. Frey was a letdown to me......I thought he sounded like he might be sick. He was the weak link up there. And for the life that Walsh has led, he sounded amazing. Granted this is all coming from a very casual Eagles fan.

Like I said, Henley was just a notch below...still really good...I just have a really high bar for him.
